Earl&rsquo;s Provisions Shop is looking for a Caf&eacute; &amp; Counter Associate to join our team. Located next door to Earl&rsquo;s Premier in Brookside, the shop offers espresso, grab-and-go bites, and thoughtfully prepared provisions for the neighborhood. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with food, coffee, and guests in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.Position SummaryThe Caf&eacute; &amp; Counter Associate plays an important role in the daily operations of the Provisions Shop by supporting food preparation, packaging, and guest-facing counter service. This position helps ensure products are prepared, presented, and served with consistency and care while delivering a warm, welcoming experience for every guest.This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys working both behind the counter and in food preparation, with a strong focus on hospitality, product quality, and attention to detail.Core Responsibilities:Food Prep &amp; Product Execution<ul><li>Assist with daily food prep, portioning, and packaging of provisions and grab-and-go offerings</li><li>Ensure products are prepared, labeled, and displayed according to shop standards</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep, storage, and service areas</li><li>Monitor product freshness, quality, and presentation throughout the day</li><li>Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices</li></ul>Counter Service &amp; Guest Experience<ul><li>Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to guests at the counter</li><li>Help guests with selections, questions, and product recommendations</li><li>Prepare espresso drinks and other beverages as needed</li><li>Operate POS and handle transactions accurately</li><li>Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked service and display areas</li><li>Support efficient service flow during busy periods</li></ul>Daily Operations &amp; Team Support<ul><li>Assist with opening and closing responsibilities as assigned</li><li>Help maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the shop during and after service</li><li>Communicate product needs or operational issues to management</li><li>Support a positive, collaborative team environment</li><li>Perform additional responsibilities and other duties as assigned to support team objectives and daily operations</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in caf&eacute;, food service, market, or quick-service environments preferred</li><li>Experience with counter service, barista work, or food preparation is a plus</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Friendly, guest-focused communication style</li><li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team</li><li>Comfortable standing/walking for 8+ hours, and be able to bend, push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs.</li></ul>What you get from us:<ul><li>Tipped minimum wage + Tips (Average of $25-$35 per hour)</li><li>Employee discount at all locations</li></ul>Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Work Location: In person
