Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead business development and sales efforts for our Construction BPO division, specializing in construction takeoff and related back-office services. This role is critical in driving revenue growth by building strong client relationships, developing strategic sales plans, and expanding our footprint in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies specifically targeting construction companies and related stakeholders to promote construction takeoff and back-office services.
- Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities across corporate, subcontractor, and developer clients within the construction sector.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships by understanding their operational needs and delivering tailored back-office service solutions.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, to closing and post-sale account management.
- Collaborate closely with operations, estimating, and delivery teams to ensure client expectations are met and service quality is maintained.
- Manage pipeline forecasting, sales reporting, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Mentor and guide junior sales team members to drive team performance and personal development.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to keep the sales approach innovative and competitive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience in construction-related services, preferably with exposure to BPO or back-office solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets within the construction or construction services industry.
- Deep understanding of construction processes, terminology, and takeoff estimating.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Willingness to travel as required.
