
Team Lead Accounts Recieable
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the AR team to achieve collection and productivity targets.
- Manage insurance follow-up for outstanding claims and aging accounts.
- Review, analyze, and resolve denied, rejected, and underpaid claims.
- Monitor AR reports and identify opportunities to improve collections and reduce AR days.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Workers' Compensation payer policies.
- Provide coaching, quality feedback, and performance monitoring for team members.
- Prepare and present AR performance reports to management.
- Collaborate with Billing, Coding, and Operations teams to resolve revenue cycle issues.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Medical Billing and AR Follow-up.
- Strong knowledge of insurance follow-up, denial management, appeals, and payer guidelines.
- Experience handling Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Workers' Compensation claims.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AR reporting, and medical billing software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Prior team handling or leadership experience preferred.
