Team Lead Accounts Recieable

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the AR team to achieve collection and productivity targets.
  • Manage insurance follow-up for outstanding claims and aging accounts.
  • Review, analyze, and resolve denied, rejected, and underpaid claims.
  • Monitor AR reports and identify opportunities to improve collections and reduce AR days.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Workers' Compensation payer policies.
  • Provide coaching, quality feedback, and performance monitoring for team members.
  • Prepare and present AR performance reports to management.
  • Collaborate with Billing, Coding, and Operations teams to resolve revenue cycle issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Medical Billing and AR Follow-up.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance follow-up, denial management, appeals, and payer guidelines.
  • Experience handling Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Workers' Compensation claims.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AR reporting, and medical billing software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Prior team handling or leadership experience preferred.
