ABOUT THE ROLE 
TaxRise is looking for an Accountant to support our growing finance team. This role is responsible for a range of accounting functions, including managing financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

Base rate: $27.00 &ndash; $30.00 per hour (Full-time, Non-exempt)

WHAT YOU'LL DO
<ul>
<li>Manage and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable</li>
<li>Oversee and verify daily accounting entries and financial transactions</li>
<li>Reconcile merchant and bank accounts regularly</li>
<li>Maintain accurate general ledger entries</li>
<li>Review and prepare documentation for billing disputes</li>
<li>Generate timely and accurate financial reports</li>
<li>Support internal and external audits</li>
<li>Collaborate with team members on special projects and ad hoc tasks</li> 
</ul>
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
<ul>
<li>2+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience</li>
<li>Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices</li>
<li>Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP)</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to shifting priorities</li>
<li>Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred)</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively with individuals across all levels of the organization</li>
