Lead end-to-end video production</b>, editing and assembling raw footage while seamlessly integrating high-end animation, typography, and graphic layouts.</li><li><b>
Architect motion designs from scratch</b>, taking projects from initial storyboarding to final polish, ensuring every graphic element feels alive and on-brand.</li><li><b>
Collaborate as a creative partner</b> with Product Marketing and Content teams to brainstorm and execute video concepts that resonate with global audiences.</li><li><b>
Apply rigorous design principles</b>&mdash;including typography, hierarchy, and color theory&mdash;to ensure every frame of video is as functional as it is beautiful.</li><li><b>

</b></h3><ul><li><ul><li>3-5+ years of professional experience in animation and video editing, preferably within a high-growth tech environment or creative agency.</li><li>
An exceptional portfolio that demonstrates advanced brand-driven storytelling, sophisticated motion design, and a strong eye for graphic design.</li><li>
Advanced expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects and Premiere Pro, along with proficiency in Figma.</li><li>
Deep knowledge of social media strategy, with a proven track record of tailoring high-performing content for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.</li><li>
Mastery of design fundamentals, including typography, layout, and color theory, applied specifically to time-based media.</li><li>
Technical expertise in post-production workflows, including contemporary file formats, codecs, and archival best practices to ensure a future-proof library.</li><li>
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.</li><li>

The Animator is responsible for assisting the Cinematics Team Animators on tasks relating to the facial animation pipeline. They will be managing and testing facial animation in-game and learning to tweak in-house and outsourced animation using Maya to obtain a higher quality.</p><p></p><ul><li>This is a hybrid Temporary role, with 3 days onsite at the NetherRealm Studio in Chicago, IL</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Job Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Validate facial animation works and looks correct in the game</li><li>
Assemble delivered facial animation into game ready packages</li><li>
Produce facial animation, or edit facial performance data</li><li>
Tweak delivered facial animation to achieve higher shippable quality</li><li>
Participate in team content reviews</li><li>
Assist in Motion Capture shoots as needed</li></ul><p><br>
</p><p><b>Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification</b></p><ul><li>
Some amount of formal animation education such as BFA\BS from accredited art or design school or equivalent level of experience required. Applicants must have either graduated from or be enrolled in such a program.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Knowledge/Skills</b></p><ul><li>
Familiarity animating with at least one Industry Standard 3D package required (Maya, MotionBuilder,etc.)</li><li>
Familiarity in facial/body animation.</li><li>
Familiarity with Photoshop, Premier, etc.</li></ul><p><br>
