Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Inspector to join our team! In this role you will get to inspect site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed landscape work and give practical advice on constructional matters.</p><p></p><p>
What You'll Be Doing:
</p><ul><li><p>Ensure that all construction works related to soft and hard landscaping are performed in strict accordance with the plans and specifications.</p></li><li><p>
Maintain a detailed diary of the day&rsquo;s work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labor and equipment used, etc., and sign at the end of each day.</p></li><li><p>
Interface with the public, especially residents and business owners adjacent to the work, to mitigate the construction impacts.</p></li><li><p>
Coordinate with the Contractor&rsquo;s foreman in charge of the work daily to check on the proper execution of the work.</p></li><li><p>
Coordinate with the Materials Technician and arrange for sampling and testing of satisfactorily completed work, and quality assurance testing of suspect materials.</p></li><li><p>
Report questionable methods of operation by the Contractor to the Resident Engineer.</p></li><li><p>

 As Assistant Resident Engineer &ndash; Civil (OHL) in our Transmission &amp; Distribution department, you will assist the Resident Engineer in supervising and monitoring the civil works for overhead line (OHL) projects. You will ensure compliance with contract documents, method statements, safety regulations, and approved drawings while supporting inspections, technical coordination, and final handover of works.

   Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and construction-related documents.

  The Assistant Resident Civil Engineer (ARE Civil) supports the Resident Civil Engineer in the on-site supervision and technical monitoring of civil and structural works executed by the EPC Contractor.

  Based on site, the ARE Civil assists in verifying that civil construction activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable international standards, and local regulations. The role contributes to maintaining construction quality, safety, and proper documentation throughout the execution of the works.

  The position is primarily support-oriented and operates under the guidance and direction of the Resident Civil Engineer.
