The Communications Officer post is part of the Corporate Communications and Publications (CCP) unit. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES</b></h2><p>
The Communications Officer, (External Communications) is responsible for: (i) producing, in a timely manner, quality communications products that accurately illustrate WHO&rsquo;s work and impact in countries, (ii) developing and adapting global and regional communications products and activities for use at country level, and (iii) building communications capacity in country offices.</p><p>
 Under the supervision of the Press and Media Relations Officer and guidance of the Communications Manager the incumbent performs the following duties.</p><p><b>

REMUNERATION</b></h2><p>
WHO salaries for staff in the Professional category are calculated in US dollars. The remuneration for the above position comprises an annual base salary starting at USD 56,046 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable), a variable post adjustment, which reflects the cost of living in a particular duty station, and currently amounts to USD 2046 per month for the duty station indicated above.
