OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE 
Monitors designated systems and activities, according to tasks trained and assigned, to ensure that source plasma manufacturing is performed consistently according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), the Shire Quality System, and other applicable regulations for a plasma center. Is able to perform all technical tasks required within the work areas and will work in these areas as a Lead Technician (or Center Supervisor by exception) when not acting as the Quality Lead Technician. 
 
All below listed responsibilities must be completed in compliance with federal, state, local and company-specific regulations related to quality of product, employee and donor safety, and to the proper performance of day-to-day activities. Employees must also maintain complete and accurate records, in accordance with cGMP. 
 
ACCOUNTABILITIES 
Performs duties associated with Quality (including but not limited to): (50%) 
Reviews operational records in association with tasks trained and assigned to ensure they are complete, accurate and compliant with cGMP requirements. 
Tracks deviations in operating procedures and policies through established mechanisms. Reports error, deficiencies, discrepancies and observations to center management and Quality Management Representative (QMR). 
Conducts monthly quality assurance audits for critical control points and key elements for the systems related to donor suitability, source plasma collection, sample collection, plasma storage, product release, quality assurance, and employee training program. 
Ensures SOP&rsquo;s are current and that staff perform routine tasks according to SOP through direct observation. 
In the absence of a QMR, works in collaboration with the management team to prepare for and host (if needed) internal auditors and external inspectors. Assists center management teams to ensure timely closure of observations. 
 
Maintain qualifications and perform all duties (core and elective) for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas. Train new and existing staff on donor center procedures through demonstration, instruction, observation, and feedback. (30%) 
Provide leadership and training assistance in support of center management and supervisory team, including oversight of operational flow. (10%) 
Maintain certification and perform all required duties of Lead Technician. (10%)

The Landfill Heavy Equipment Specialist is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and major repairs on a variety of heavy machinery and equipment, such as compactors, loaders, excavators, bulldozers, and trucks, with minimal supervision. This role also involves diagnosing major repairs. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in heavy equipment maintenance, be able to troubleshoot issues, and ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely. 


This is a &quot;mandatory-testing&quot; position that requires Drug Testing. 


EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

Independently perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks, including changing fluids, changing filters, greasing moving parts, and inspecting tires, tracks, and mechanical components.

Complete scheduled maintenance according to county and manufacturer guidelines, ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition and ready for use.

Perform minor repairs and adjustments to heavy machinery, such as replacing worn parts, fixing leaks, adjusting mechanical components, and addressing other minor mechanical failures.

Ensure all minor repairs are completed efficiently and in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Welding Proficiency
Perform major repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission repairs, hydraulic system repairs, and other complex issues, under the supervision of the maintenance manager.

Help identify the root causes of major equipment failures, providing insight and support to complete the repairs correctly and safely.

Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical, hydraulic, emissions, and electrical issues in heavy equipment.

Perform troubleshooting to assess the extent of problems and make recommendations for repairs or replacements as necessary.

Experienced in MIG, TIG, arc, and oxy-acetylene welding for both mild and hardened steel.

Performs structural repairs to dozer blades, compactor teeth, loader buckets, and frames.

Capable of fabricating custom components, including guards, handrails, push blades, and wear liners.

Reads and interprets fabrication drawings and safely performs field welding under landfill conditions.

Follow established safety guidelines and county policies while performing maintenance tasks.

Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards, reporting any safety concerns or hazards.

Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring all tools and equipment are in proper working order.

Keep accurate and up-to-date maintenance logs, recording inspections, repairs, parts used, and any issues discovered during maintenance activities.

Help manage and track equipment service schedules to ensure compliance with routine maintenance requirements utilizing appropriate software and management systems.

Overview
The Reimbursement Coordinator is responsible for accurately and timely processing commercial payments, self-pay payments, managing adjustments and processing refunds for clients&rsquo; accounts. This position will also audit client&rsquo;s accounts for accuracy of timely payments and refer appropriate accounts to the outside collection agency. The Reimbursement Coordinator will ensure all payments are entered into the system and applied to the appropriate accounts timely. This position is required to develop and maintain a working knowledge of insurance billing and insurance regulations. Assist with month end closing as needed. Answer internal and external calls and emails. Must have a thorough knowledge of insurance regulations and contracts to ensure correct payments are received. Must have a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to ensure accurate reconciliation of client&rsquo;s accounts. Manage aged accounts within the guidelines set forth in the departmental Policy and Procedure manual. Report any billing concerns/issues to the Director of Reimbursement Services. This position will work closely with finance, accounting and co-workers to identify best practices for ongoing reimbursement enhancements. Job duties are expected to be executed with considerable independence, must possess outstanding attention to detail and maintain compliance with established facility policies and procedures, contract requirements, organization bylaws, and federal and state regulations/laws.

Requirements<ul><li>Associate (AA) degree preferred.</li><li>Three (3) years medical billing or relevant business experience preferred.</li><li>In lieu of degree a high school diploma; GED with five (5) years relevant business experience may be substituted.</li><li>Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.</li><li>Must be able to work independently and have good decision-making skills.</li><li>Must have the ability to solve issues and know when to request assistance. Must have a thorough understanding of claims processing, payments and collections.</li><li>This position will require the ability to research and analyze data and provide immediate feedback to the management team as requested.</li><li>Must maintain professional effective working relationships with internal and external customers.</li><li>This position requires proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.</li><li>Thorough understanding of HIPAA guidelines and regulations regarding confidentiality and Release of Information regarding medical/billing records.</li><li>Practice proper telephone etiquette and provide excellent customer service.</li><li>Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as required.</li></ul>

<li>Support participant care and event operations, including phlebotomy, specimen handling, and documentation (paper or electronic).</li>
<li>Help set up and manage clinical research events to ensure they run smoothly, safely, and compliantly.</li>

This is not your traditional part-time job. It is flexible, purpose-driven work that fits your schedule. You'll opt into local events through our scheduling system and log actual hours worked after each one. Whether you want to pick up one event a month or several a week, you'll be helping make clinical research more accessible for everyone.

<li>Clinical &amp; Participant Care: Perform venipuncture and capillary collections (as applicable) while maintaining aseptic technique and participant comfort. Handle and prepare biospecimens with care &mdash; labeling, processing, packaging, and transferring or shipping under proper chain-of-custody and temperature controls. Communicate clearly and promptly escalate any safety or quality concerns to onsite leadership.</li>
<li>Study Operations &amp; Data Management: Accurately document all procedures and results in approved systems (e-source, logs, etc.) according to ALCOA-C++ and ensure regulatory compliance (GxP, HIPAA). Follow established SOPs to help keep each event audit-ready and compliant.</li>
<li>Participant Experience &amp; Event Operations: Welcome participants and help guide them through event flow. Set up and break down event stations, prepare kits and supplies, and maintain a safe, organized, and professional workspace that reflects Care Access' high standards.</li>
<li>Site &amp; Administrative Support: Assist with light administrative and inventory tasks that keep the event running smoothly, from restocking supplies to supporting team coordination.</li>
