A Technician is responsible for contributing to safe and effective operations of the pharmacy, including but not limited to:<ul><li>
Living our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation to help our Pharmacists manage and improve patient health</li><li>
Following pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation (i.e., production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment</li><li>
Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care: creating heartfelt and personalized moments while serving patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone; keeping patients healthy by offering immunizations and other services at the register and over the phone; and demonstrating compassionate care by solving or escalating patient problems</li><li>
Completing basic inventory activities, as permitted by law, and as directed by the pharmacy leadership team, such as accurately putting away medication deliveries and completing cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories, etc.</li><li>
Contributing to a high-performing team, embracing a growth mindset, and being receptive to feedback; actively seeking opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge needed to better assist patients</li><li>

Where permissible, the Pharmacy Technician may also support immunizations, which includes the following responsibilities:<ul><li>
Completing additional licensure and training requirements, in compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations, to obtain Technician Immunizer status to support preparing and administering vaccines</li><li>
Educating patients about the importance of vaccines and referring patients to the Pharmacist-on-duty for vaccination questions</li><li>
Monitoring for, and responding to, adverse reactions; reporting adverse reaction events per public health requirements</li><li>
Reviewing and collecting patient information; tracking and documenting for each applicable patient</li><li>
Monitoring and managing vaccine supplies</li></ul>

What you&rsquo;ll be doing:

As a Warehouse Trainer, you will administer on-the-job, classroom, material handling equipment, and safety training to new and existing associates. You will collaborate with leadership to ensure training programs meet the business needs. You will assist within department functions as needed, based on volume, in addition to training.

In this role, you will update training materials to reflect changes in Standard Operating Procedures and policies and determine training effectiveness. In addition, you will collaborate on new ideas to improve training and meet business needs.

You will need to be driven by results and able to track success of how training translates to quality and other metrics. You will work closely with operational leadership to address operational concerns/ questions regarding training and investigate root cause to training issues and recommend solutions.

Manager, Transportation will ensure a Transportation department culture focused on people, safety, service, and cost through meaningful engagements with drivers, best in-class service to customers, and safe and profitable operations. Ensure all drivers and other Transportation department associates are appropriately trained in job duties as well as safety and legal responsibilities.</li><li>Oversee and develop drivers and Transportation associates by discussing performance with Sr. Transportation Managers and creating plans to address gaps.</li><li>Create an atmosphere in which upward communication is encouraged, and motivate associates to achieve department goals and objectives.</li><li>Direct and supervise the work and productivity of drivers and clerical associates within the Transportation department. Drive associate engagement and retention, and create a culture that embodies US Foods values.</li><li>Build high-performing teams by participating in interviewing and hiring Transportation personnel, in conjunction with Sr. Transportation Managers.
