The CFO provides end-to-end leadership across financial reporting, FP&amp;A, financial operations, regulatory reporting, and audit, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and scalability in a fast-paced fintech environment. Purpose 
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the overall financial stewardship of the Ooredoo Fintech. The role ensures robust financial governance, regulatory compliance, sustainable growth, and value creation while supporting the company's expansion, product innovation, and operational scale.
The CFO will oversee the financial strategy, reporting, financial operations, regulatory engagement, and risk management, ensuring strong controls over customer funds, settlements, and financial data. The CFO acts as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board, and regulators and supports evidence‑based decision‑making through high‑quality financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
Role Accountabilities 
Financial Strategy:<ul><li>
Define and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives, growth plans, and regulatory requirements.</li></ul><ul><li>
Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership, providing financial insights to support decision-making, product expansion, and market entry.</li><li>
Lead long-term financial planning, capital allocation, and investment prioritization</li></ul>
Financial Governance &amp; Reporting:<ul><li>
Oversee IFRS-compliant financial reporting, including management accounts, board reporting, and statutory financial statements.</li><li>
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes.</li><li>
Maintain governance frameworks policies and audit readiness.</li></ul>
Regulatory &amp; Compliance:<ul><li>
Serve as the primary finance liaison with regulators (e.g., Central Bank / QCB), auditors, and external stakeholders.</li><li>
Ensure full compliance with regulatory reporting, licence conditions, safeguarding of customer funds, and PSP/fintech regulations.</li><li>
Oversee finance-related AML/FCC controls in collaboration with Risk and Compliance teams.</li></ul>
Finance Operations:<ul><li>
Provide executive oversight of financial operations, including reconciliations, settlement funding, escrow accounts, and partner settlements.</li><li>
Manage liquidity planning, cash forecasting, settlements, escrow accounts and foreign exchange exposure management.</li><li>
Maintain robust controls over customer funds, settlement SLAs, and fund segregation.</li></ul>
FP&amp;A, Performance &amp; Value Creation:<ul><li>
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes.</li><li>
