 <div>Position Description: The Claims Manager works closely with customers, manufacturers , and internal teams to investigate claims, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Principal Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Scheduling appointments with homeowners, contractors and vendors to set up inspections</li>
<li>Meet with homeowners and contractors to inspect hard surface and soft surface flooring along with taking pictures of affected areas</li>
<li>Explaining the claims process to homeowners and contractors</li>
<li>Properly handling customer&rsquo;s complaints and concerns</li>
<li>Ensure a positive outcome for all customers</li>
<li>Labeling electronic folders and downloading pictures into these folders for future reference</li>
<li>Collecting pertinent information from RFMS, including orders, purchase orders, product information and roll numbers</li>
<li>Using collected information to file a claim with the appropriate vendor or mill, via internet, fax or phone</li>
<li>Figure material costs, amount of product needed, sundry amounts and the labor associated with the removal and new installation for each claim</li>
<li>Creating orders once material and installation costs have been figured</li>
<li>Ordering material and scheduling installs with installation department</li>
<li>Saving orders with line item amounts in electronic folders for future labor requests</li>
<li>Adding daily notes of interactions between yourself, vendors, mills, homeowners and contractors into the claim to track timelines and pertinent information</li>
<li>Conducting follow up calls or emails to mills, vendors or reps to check status on existing open claims</li>
<li>Keeping salesperson or designer informed and up to date with the status for each of their open claims</li>
<li>Creating an open claims list each week or when requested for AR</li>
<li>Tracking credit memos and payments for existing open claim to ensure reimbursement on all claims</li>
<li>Checking job costs in Timberline software</li>
<li>Adjust labor costs and enter into order prior to submitting labor requests from the mill or vendor</li>
<li>Close and bill out claim orders after satisfactory reimbursements have been received</li>
<li>Effectively create denial, settlement and approval letters</li>
</ul>Other Duties As Assigned: Performs other related duties as assigned including supporting team members in the completion of their work for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the business.</div>
 <div>Experience/Education Required:
<ul><li><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree is preferred, but not required
</li><li>Flooring experience is preferred, but not required</li>
<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat</li>
<li>Highly organized, and ability to handle multiple project/tasks simultaneously</li>
<li>Proven ability to effectively communicate and apply policies and procedures to others</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills</li>

Job Summary:
 
We are seeking a skilled and dependable employee to join our Facility Upkeep &amp; Project Crew at our beef processing plant. This role is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks related to painting, facility upkeep, and small-scale construction or repair projects to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. 
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Perform interior and exterior painting of plant structures, equipment, and surfaces.</li><li>
Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming.</li><li>
Complete minor facility repairs including drywall, flooring, doors, and windows.</li><li>
Assist with installation, demolition, or renovation projects as assigned.</li><li>
Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and project instructions to complete tasks.</li><li>
Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with plant safety, sanitation, and operational standards.</li><li>
Coordinate with other maintenance and operations teams as needed.</li><li>
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.</li></ul> 

Skills and experience:<ul><li>
Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
</li><li>Preferred 1&ndash;2 years of experience in facility maintenance, painting, or a related trade.</li><li>
Knowledge of proper painting techniques, tools, and safety procedures.</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and technical documents.</li><li>
Basic carpentry, drywall, and general repair skills preferred.</li><li>
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends or overtime as needed.</li><li>
Painting, construction and Maintenance skills.</li><li>
Teamwork and communication skills.</li></ul> 
 
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods.</li><li>
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.</li><li>
Tolerance for working in a meat processing environment with varying temperatures and conditions.</li></ul>
