Job Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Set up, operate, and provide education on home medical equipment that includes, but is not limited to CPAP/BiPAP machines, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and/or mechanical ventilators</li>
<li>Inspect, test, and adjust home medical equipment to ensure it is functioning safely and efficiently</li>
<li>Review prescription and patient information to assess condition and determine suitable treatment administration, compatible with physician orders</li>
<li>Maintain patient records in a complete and organized manner in compliance with accreditation standards</li>
<li>Maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and relevant respiratory therapy concepts</li>
<li>Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed
<ul><li>Frequency is determined by center size and number of employees available to share</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>In all states CRTs and RRTs are qualified for this position
<ul><li>Subject to state law/regulation, RNs, LPNs, LVNs, paramedics, EMTs, and other clinicians may also be qualified for this position</li>
</ul></li><li>Must remain certified, registered, or licensed by the applicable state and/or national board governing clinical practice or as otherwise permitted by law</li>
<li>Must have reliable personal vehicle to visit patients throughout assigned territory
<ul><li>Mileage reimbursement is provided</li>
</ul></li><li>Must maintain a valid driver's license and auto insurance in state of residence, per company policy</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications</li>

Provides care for patients according to the standards of care. Facilitates patient and clerical activities on a unit, documentation, communication of information necessary for patient care, system management, chart assembly and analysis, customer service/public relations activities related to patient care and unit operations.

BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire.</li><li>
