Summary:</b><br>

<b>The Service Technician II provides maintenance, service, and repair for commercial cooking equipment and commercial refrigeration i.e. grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, reach-in and walk-in coolers, freezers, etc.</b><br>

<b>Details:</b></div><ul><li>
Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs commercial cooking kitchen equipment, refrigeration.</li><li>
Communicates status updates for part order(s) and repairs with branch support and customer.
</li><li>Completes service calls accurately and timely.</li><li>
Audits truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.</li><li>
Ensures service vehicle, tools, and uniforms are consistent with Whaley standards of safety.</li><li>
Meets on-call requirements.</li></ul><div><b>
Required Education | Experience</b></div><ul><li>
Three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair and or refrigeration.</li><li>
Must be 18 years of age.</li><li>
Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.</li><li>
Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standard.</li></ul><div><b>
Skills and Abilities</b></div><ul><li>
Ability to work independently</li><li>
Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot: an automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background is a plus.</li><li>
Journeyman License and or CFESA certification not required but would be a plus.
</li><li>Strong attention to detail.</li><li>
Excellent communication and soft skills.</li><li>

Job Overview:</p><div><br>
Provides respiratory care in all patient care settings during the weekend, also includes duties of those of an RRT, with specialized knowledge and skills in the areas of Critical Care, Airway management, Advanced Life Support and Mechanical Ventilation of all ages. Responsibilities include first-line adult or neonatal intubation, transport of newborns, and acts as a preceptor in the clinical training of residents, nurses, and students in the advanced practice of pulmonary medicine and therapeutic procedures.<br>

Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program<br>
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) and ACLS if providing adult intubations<br>
NRP if providing neonatal intubations<br>
NBRC registry<br>
RCP licensure in Ohio<br>
3-4 years experience in a related field<br>

Performs all necessary documentation, updates work lists, and submits all charges by the end of the shift.<br>
Demonstrates skill and proficiency in the management of the Respiratory Evaluation Protocol Program<br>
Demonstrates proficiency as specialist in ventilator management and critical care for adults and neonates<br>
Demonstrates proficiency and competency in the management of adult and neonatal airways.<br>
Demonstrates proficiencies as specialist in recommending, initiating and performing specialized clinical procedures to help diagnose, treat and/or improve patient situations<br>
Shows respect to all customers. Is available &amp; demonstrates accountability to customers. Protects customer confidentiality &amp; privacy. Is committed to customer service as revealed in department service excellence scores. Anticipates customer needs and responds to them in a timely manner.<br>
