The Dental Assistant is responsible for providing dental and surgical assisting duties to all Division of Comprehensive Oral Health (COH) clinics. This includes Periodontology, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Operative, General Dentistry, and the Dental Faculty Practice. Tasks include preparing the clinic, setting up trays using sterile techniques, assisting with a variety of restorative and surgical procedures, assisting with obtaining informed consent, and obtaining and documenting pre- and post-op vitals. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for preparing patients for their procedure and subsequently reviewing post-op instructions, assisting patient and families as needed, and restocking the inventories in the rooms in a prescribed manner. The Dental Assistant will assist clinical faculty in training dental, dental auxiliary, and graduate specialty students in clinical practice as well as providing dental assisting as needed in support of the Division. This includes monitoring/implementing clinic policies and procedures, restorative and surgical tray preparation, sterilization of instruments and maintaining asepsis, exposing and processing radiographs, seating and interacting with patients, collecting and recording patient data, taking intraoral photographs, and providing chairside assistance to students, graduate residents and faculty.</div>

<p>Looking for a CMA with experience or interest in Women's health for a solo gyn practice. Venipuncture and specimen handling skills with good references for those skills are an absolute must. Computer experience with EHR's (athenanet) helpful. Good phone and people skills required. Part time position available plus ability to work more hours when the FT CMA is out.</p><p>PT schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 to 5:30 as well as offering flexibility for some Tuesday hours and/or fewer hours on Mondays if desired. Your role will focus primarily on keeping the household running smoothly and proactively &mdash; serving as that second set of hands that lightens the daily load. Deep cleaning is handled by a housekeeper, so your attention will be on everyday upkeep, organization, and staying ahead of tasks.</p><p>
Responsibilities include (but aren&rsquo;t limited to):</p><ul><li>Meal prep 2-3 days a week</li><li>Loading/unloading the dishwasher and keeping the kitchen clean</li><li>Children&rsquo;s and parents&rsquo; laundry, making beds, changing sheets, washing towels</li><li>Light bathroom wipe-downs</li><li>Vacuuming, sweeping, dusting baseboards, tidying common areas</li><li>Grocery shopping, returning packages, dry cleaning, and errands</li><li>Restocking pantry and household supplies and keeping a running list of needs</li><li>Organizing cabinets, closets, pantry, garage, and one-off home projects</li><li>Prepping swim bags, keeping the diaper bag stocked and prepping for family trips</li><li>Gift shopping, wrapping, donation drop-offs, and holiday decor help</li></ul><p>
﻿Childcare will be minimal and only as needed &mdash; perhaps a school pickup in a pinch or a quick helping hand with the girls. This family thrives on structure and consistency and keeps a very clean, organized home. They&rsquo;re flexible on which days you work, but would love a predictable schedule of about 15&ndash;20 hours per week ideally across 3 - 4 days. Some weeks may require a bit more support when Dad is traveling or Mom&rsquo;s schedule is heavier, with advance communication to coordinate needs.</p><p><b>
