Compensation
BBB offers fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $160,000-$220,000, with variations based on experience, education, achievements, and business needs. Employees may also receive an annual performance-based bonus and salary increase.

<li>Manage interface with HR Business Partners regarding leave of absence process and exit COBRA processing</li>
<li>Establish key performance indicators to track the effectiveness of benefit programs including claims experience monitoring, employee satisfaction/engagement with benefits, compliance audit outcomes</li>
<li>Develop and implement a high touch communication and training programs on benefits and perks for all employees to promote understanding and effective utilization of programs.</li>
<li>Process payroll information: medical, dental, TDA, voluntary benefits, pension</li>
<li>Supervise Benefits team in the following areas: benefits enrollment, changes and terminations to plans, communication to staff on benefits changes</li>
<li>Respond to outreach regarding: benefits information, problems with carriers, and payroll corrections</li>
<li>Prepare Medicare match for Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)</li>
<li>Review and approve billing for all benefits</li>
<li>Develop and produce self-bills for a variety of life and long-term disability plans</li>
<li>Stay abreast of benefit trends and Government legislation</li>
<li>Implement changes triggered by Government requirements</li>
<li>Present benefits information to new staff at scheduled orientation sessions</li>
</ul>

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIRED: 
<ul>
<li>Minimum education level of a BA in a related discipline, advanced degree preferred</li>
<li>CEBS preferred; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP also beneficial</li>
</ul>
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/LANGUAGE PREFERENCE: 
<ul>
<li>Extensive knowledge of the ACA regulations and self-insured products</li>
<li>5+ years’ experience in employee benefits administration</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines is critical</li>
<li>Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to make sound judgments regarding the implementation of routine operational issues</li>
</ul>
COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED: 
<ul>
<li>Advanced experience with spreadsheet packages; Excel preferred</li>
<li>Experience with HRIS systems required, Dayforce preferred.</li>
</ul>
VISUAL AND MANUAL DEXTERITY: 
<ul>
<li>The candidate should be able to read documents for analytical purposes such as computer information, software, computer graphic design programs, etc.</li>
<li>Limited applications of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.</li>
</ul>
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL EFFORT: 
<ul>
<li>The work environment involves no physical risk or hazardous conditions.</li>
<li>To perform the essential functions of this job, the candidate is routinely required to sit (75% of the time) and stand (25% of the time)</li>
<li>This role is a hybrid position with some work from home and some need to work from an office location.</li>
