 Join Amazon's Disability Leave Services (DLS) team in building a world-class program delivering leave of absence, disability, and accommodation services globally. As a Clinical Analyst &ndash; MHW, you'll serve as a vital mental health resource, managing complex cases and ensuring optimal outcomes for both employees and the organization. The &ldquo;Clinical Analyst &ndash; MHW&rdquo;, serves as a clinical resource assisting the case managers, providing clinical recommendations and co-management activities on STD and Accommodation claims that have a primary disabling behavioral health diagnosis.
 
 
 This role will provide clinical expertise and serve as a critical link between leaves case managers and Accommodation specialists involved in disability and accommodation MHW cases. This role will facilitate medically sound decisions from a clinical perspective, ensure absence and disability claims are administered optimally, and deliver exceptional employee experience. Key component in this role is strong self-management skills, a desire to knowledge share and an ability to translate medical consultation into favorable results for the company and employees.
 
 
 The Mental Health Clinicians are expected to have a strong clinical knowledge, understanding of ICD-10, DSM&ndash;5 diagnostic codes, understand how medical/Behavioral conditions impact functionality impairment and capacity and how it impacts the essential job functions of the employees at Amazon (Ability to apply clinical knowledge for absence management). In this role you will have the ability to effectively leverage upon your clinical expertise, translate this expertise into consultations that will assist Amazon and our employees in successfully returning to work with or without medical accommodation(s) of work restrictions.
