With a big portion of our projects being fabrication, production &amp; installation, we need a skilled Fabricators on our Production team. Our scopes consistently include; sample development, creating custom build plans, timelines, budget support, purchasing/procurement, organizing/planning, team collaboration, strong communication, assembly, building/fabrication, finishing touches, installations and shop maintenance.&nbsp;

Our projects have a wide range of build-type, install, material and medium so we are looking for someone who has a wide range of experience and a steady hand.&nbsp;The qualities we will look for are: Experienced builder, great communication at every step, collaborative, detail oriented, good listener, takes direction well, asks questions for clarity as needed, on-time, reliable, clean, organized, professional, positive and stays productive.&nbsp;Our builds are subject to change as they are being developed so we need someone who is flexible, open &amp; curious.

  This role spends about 85% of their time on the physical aspects of the position: purchasing, materials pick up, site visits, sample exploration &amp; development, building/fabrication, finishing, installing and post-install punch list reviews.&nbsp;The remaining 15% is spent on the administrative, planning &amp; communication aspects of the role; working in our project management software, reading up on project approved designs, digesting design intent, asking good questions, coming up with build options/ideas, writing out production plans, working on timelines/milestones, forecasting needs from the studio to meet the deadline and attending weekly team meetings.

   Planning, development of and follow through for assigned fabrication projects

Key job responsibilities<br>
<ul><li>Serve as the internal structural engineering lead for the team, providing guidance on lifting and rigging plans, product tie-down for transport, and seismic analysis across the electrical product portfolio.</li><li>Lead seismic analysis programs including test planning, coordination with third-party testing labs, results analysis, and development of recommendations for product design changes.</li><li>Review and approve lifting and rigging plans for electrical products, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and safe handling requirements.</li><li>Define tie-down and restraint requirements for product transport, coordinating with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure structural integrity during shipping and installation.</li><li>Work with internal partner teams to solicit customer input and define structural design requirements for product development.</li><li>Lead new structural product design, development, and qualification of structural systems used in AWS data center electrical infrastructure, including structural supports, equipment enclosures, and cable management systems.</li><li>Work with global suppliers and manufacturers to specify appropriate structural products and components, ensuring tier 2-3 supply chain resiliency.</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable structural codes and standards including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and federal, state, and municipal requirements across different countries through appropriate levels of testing and review.</li><li>Validate design through prototype, pre-production, and first-of-kind builds, conducting DFx and value engineering analysis through each step and updating design and documentation.</li><li>Work with field engineering and commissioning teams to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of structural products.</li><li>Provide support for manufacturing activities for new structural products on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations.</li><li>Be a leader within the product development team as well as within internal and external teams that support the data center.</li><li>Mentor and develop junior and mid-level structural engineers, raising the technical bar across<br>
