Role Overview

Subsea7 is hiring a Hook-Up Specialist to work in the Operations Department being in charge to support and coordinate all the Hook-Up activities in the onshore facility. They will oversee managing vendors and subcontractors, as well as maintain good relationship with Client.

In addition, they will oversee developing technical requisition for material and equipment required for hook-up activities, as well as for technical scope of work for subcontracted services.

The Hook-Up Specialist will work in offshore hook-up campaign preparation by developing job cards, material tracker, tie in list, all activities list.

Key Responsibilities

Organize, coordinate and control the execution of Brownfield modification scope in the onshore facility (Electrical and Instrumentation works, Piping/Scrapper works, general Demolition and Installation works) performed by subcontractors, ensuring the management of the interfaces with all construction disciplines and engineering departments, overseeing the availability of the construction materials and equipment and verifying that works is correctly carried out in accordance with project documentation and schedule.

<ul><li>Responsible to ensure compliance of IMS. Perform all operational activities in line with the safety management system and environment management system.

<ul><li> Provide monitoring for the ongoing maintenance jobs on assigned areas.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Conducts routine plant checks i.e. plant round ups and completion of log sheets.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Perform operational actions under direction from the CRO (i.e. Valve operations, switching on/ off pumps or resetting the local alarms etc) to avoid any abnormal plant operations or to correct existing abnormalities.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Prepare plant for start ups in accordance with approved operations procedure.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Performs plant shut down and extended shut down preservation of plant routines in accordance with approved operations procedure. Performa manual intervention actions during trip conditions and maintain close supervision to ensure and maintains close supervision to ensure safe run down of plant.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Practical application of safety rules performing safe plant isolations from the system to allow routine maintenance activities. De-isolates and restores plant equipment safely to the system.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Perform routine maintenance activity on the plant such as lube oil top-up, filter replacement and other operational activities.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Support CRO during emergency situation.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Carry out the sample analysis of the plant process steam water cycle in cases where chemist is not on-site and on Demin water, distillate, portable water and other samples.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Monitor and evaluates performance of various plant system and equipment.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Responsible for maintaining safety and housekeeping of the plant.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Initiates routine operational activities.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Complete the field operator&rsquo; skill matrix and work as acting CRO and take complete charge of power and desal blocks as CRO.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Perform routine site inspections on routine basis to regular update plant equipment status.</li></ul>

<p>Raising Work Orders Regarding Defects and Abnormal Conditions</p>

<ul><li>Raise service request in system for defects and coordinate with Shift Engineer for approval.</li></ul>

<p>Management of Plant Chemicals:</p>

<ul><li>Responsible for changing over of chemical tanks.</li></ul>

<p>Maintaining Water Quality</p>

<ul><li>To ensure the export quality of potable water to meet with WHO guidelines and potable water quality standard set in Agreement.</li></ul>
