This full-time position is based in our Cairo, Egypt office. Salary: EGP 25,000 - EGP 40,000 per month Responsibilities * Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality. * Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for regression and performance testing. * Perform thorough manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and user interfaces. * Identify, record, and meticulously track defects through to resolution using bug tracking systems. * Conduct various testing types, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. * Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure a high-quality end product. * Participate actively in agile development processes, providing valuable input during planning and review stages. * Analyse test results and generate detailed reports on software quality and system performance. Qualifications * Proven professional experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in both manual and automation testing. * Solid experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. * Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java). * Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Insomnia. * A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an exceptional attention to detail. * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. * A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
