 About The Role
 
 
 
 The Esthetician is a licensed professional responsible for delivering the signature Glowbar facial within the 30-minute treatment time. They are product and ingredient experts who inspire clients to feel confident in their skin through personalized care and education. Glowbar Estheticians create tailored treatment plans for each client, ensuring a consistent, high-quality facial every visit. They are driven to build lasting client relationships, encouraging repeat visits and guiding clients toward membership through results-driven service. Kind, genuine, and clear communicators, Estheticians ensure clients understand each step of their treatment while recommending products to support their at-home skincare routine. Education is at the heart of the role, and Estheticians are held accountable for client satisfaction and thoughtful retail integration. Collaboration and teamwork are essential, as Estheticians work closely with Studio Guides and Studio Managers to provide clients with a seamless 360&deg; Glowbar experience. They maintain an immaculate treatment room and contribute to the overall studio environment, practicing mindful product usage to manage costs effectively. Strict adherence to time and attendance is considered the golden rule for service providers. Estheticians must take proactive ownership of their shifts&mdash;covering or adjusting them as needed&mdash;so clients always receive the service they expect. This standard ensures reliability and demonstrates respect for both clients and team members. Glowbar Estheticians combine technical expertise, hospitality, and education to deliver consistent, results-driven treatments that inspire client loyalty and support membership growth.

General Summary of Position 
Provides patient care to an assigned group of patients according to an established plan of care under the direction and supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy policies procedures and standards
Primary Duties and Responsibilities 
<ul><li>
Implements patients' plan of care as directed by the RN reporting information and findings to the RN and offering suggestions for revision of the plan of care as appropriate.</li><li>
Provides direct bedside care to patients as assigned inclusive of but not limited to: performs the activities of daily living bathing skin care toileting mouth care feeding and range of motion; assisting with ambulation mobilization and rehabilitation; assistance with crutches and walkers; and transporting of patients in wheelchairs and stretchers.</li><li>
Performs routine sterile and non-sterile treatments and other treatments identified by Unit/Hospital policy inclusive of but not limited to: tube feedings; ostomy care; Foley Catheter care; IV insertion/ monitoring/care; venipuncture; EKG; simple dressing changes and wound care; maintenance of drainage tubes with/without pump or suction; point of care testing; care of oxygen equipment ; and assistance with the application maintenance and removal of traction casts splints and exercise equipment.</li><li>
Participates in patient/family teaching as directed.</li><li>
Reports/records/documents information in designated areas of the medical record or via computerized systems according to established guidelines.</li><li>

Your New Role...
The Hair and Make-Up Department is an integrated business unit, comprised of artists proficient in both art forms. Hair and make-up are key elements of the branding of the on-air talent for all CNN network shows. The artists support on-air talent across all platforms, and are responsible for the application, continuity, and modernization of hair and make-up for CNN Worldwide. The position works cohesively with the production team both in studio and on-location, in a fast-paced, breaking news environment. This position is responsible for the completion of daily administrative work, utilizing advanced technology. Finally, the position requires scheduling flexibility, as hours will shift due to changing programming demands, which could include weekends, overnights, shift extensions, and holidays, as well as traveling on-location as needed.
Your Role Accountabilities...<ul><li>
Responsible for timely execution of modern, detailed, HDTV makeup applications, utilizing both airbrush and manual makeup techniques, as well as an expert at delivering and maintaining the desired hairstyle on all hair textures and lengths, while taking into consideration industry trends, the executive vision, the audience demographic, the client's perspective, as well as the studio and lighting.</li><li>
Proficient at all hairstyling techniques and equipment which include blow-dry round brushing, wand irons, marcel irons, spring irons, and flat irons.</li><li>
Create and maintain the makeup and hairstyling &quot;specifics&rdquo; for each client to ensure consistency. Source and utilize the latest makeup products. Key artist for high-profile anchor/guests.
