Cylinder Road Tractor&ndash;Trailer OperatorThis role is responsible for operating heavy tractor&ndash;trailer combinations used to transport palletized LPG cylinders between Ras Laffan LPG Plant and the Small &amp; Medium Industries LPG Plant. The position requires strict adherence to safety standards, hazardous materials transport regulations, and operational procedures.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Drive and manage tractor&ndash;trailer units used for the distribution of LPG cylinders in a safe and controlled manner.</li><li>Perform pre-trip and routine vehicle inspections, identifying and reporting any mechanical or safety-related issues.</li><li>Comply with all traffic regulations, dangerous goods transport requirements, and client safety procedures at all times.</li><li>Position and secure the vehicle correctly at loading and unloading points to ensure safe handling of LPG cylinders.</li><li>Properly use all assigned safety equipment and tools, including demonstrating the ability to operate fire extinguishers when required.</li><li>Coordinate loading and offloading activities with designated site personnel to ensure efficient and compliant operations.</li><li>Immediately report accidents, near-miss incidents, unsafe conditions, and emergencies through the appropriate channels.</li><li>Remain available for emergency call-outs when required and strictly adhere to the use of mandated personal protective equipment (PPE).</li><li>Demonstrate basic mechanical awareness of heavy vehicles, physical stamina to work in demanding environments, and effective communication skills in English and/or Arabic.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Secondary school certificate or equivalent.</li><li>Valid Qatar heavy vehicle driving license.</li><li>Medically fit to perform physically demanding, safety-critical duties.</li></ul>Minimum Experience:<ul><li>At least three (3) years of professional driving experience, preferably in LPG cylinder transport or petroleum product logistics.</li></ul>Training / Certification:<ul><li>Defensive driving certification</li><li>Basic firefighting training</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
