Position Overview</b></h3><p>
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the high-rise condominium&rsquo;s common areas. This role ensures that the building is kept in pristine condition, providing a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for residents and guests. The Housekeeper will also assist with occasional special projects, such as deep cleaning or seasonal tasks.</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Responsibilities</b><b>:</b></h3><ul><li><p><b>
Cleaning Common Areas</b>:</p><ul><li>
Regularly clean and maintain the lobby, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and other shared spaces.</li><li>
Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish floors, surfaces, and fixtures to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.</li><li>
Clean glass surfaces, such as windows and mirrors, to maintain a polished appearance.</li></ul></li><li><p><b>
Restroom and Locker Room Maintenance</b>:</p><ul><li>
Ensure all restrooms, locker rooms, and fitness center facilities are cleaned, restocked with supplies, and sanitized throughout the day.</li><li>
Regularly check and clean bathroom fixtures, sinks, and floors, and replenish toiletries as needed.</li></ul></li><li><p><b>
Trash and Recycling</b>:</p><ul><li>
Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from common areas and ensure that garbage chutes and waste rooms are clean and orderly.</li><li>
Maintain cleanliness of trash and recycling bins and ensure that they are properly organized for scheduled pick-ups.</li></ul></li><li><p><b>
Elevator and Lobby Maintenance</b>:</p><ul><li>
Clean and sanitize elevator interiors, doors, and call buttons.</li><li>
Ensure the lobby area is neat, tidy, and welcoming at all times, including dusting furniture and cleaning entranceways.</li></ul></li><li><p><b>
Special Cleaning Projects</b>:</p><ul><li>
Assist with periodic deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet shampooing, window washing, and polishing floors.</li><li>
Support seasonal tasks such as cleaning outdoor spaces, removing snow or debris, or preparing the building for special events or holidays.</li></ul></li><li><p><b>
Resident Assistance</b>:</p><ul><li>
Assist residents with small housekeeping requests, such as cleaning up spills in common areas or helping carry packages when needed.</li><li>
Respond promptly to requests from the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor for urgent cleaning needs.</li></ul></li><li><p><b>
Supplies and Inventory</b>:</p><ul><li>
Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that they are properly stocked and stored.</li><li>
Notify the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager when supplies need replenishing or equipment requires maintenance.</li></ul></li><li><p><b>
Safety and Sanitation</b>:</p><ul><li>
Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.</li><li>
Ensure that cleaning procedures meet health and sanitation guidelines, particularly in high-traffic or sensitive areas like restrooms and fitness centers.</li></ul></li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications</b><b>:</b></h3><ul><li><p><b>
Experience</b>:</p><ul><li>
At least 1-2 years of housekeeping or custodial experience, preferably in a residential or hospitality setting.</li><li>
Familiarity with cleaning equipment, tools, and products, as well as their proper usage and safety guidelines.</li></ul></li><li><p><b>
Skills</b>:</p><ul><li>
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to complete tasks.</li><li>
Good communication skills to interact professionally with residents, guests, and staff.</li><li><b>
Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred.</b></li></ul></li><li><p><b>
Physical Requirements</b>:</p><ul><li>
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, walking and standing for extended periods.</li><li>
Requires daily walks under outside in the heat and under the sun or rain.</li><li>
Must be able to lift and move cleaning supplies and equipment, as well as handle tasks like mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.</li><li>
Cleaning restrooms, common areas, pool area, stairs, hallways.</li><li>
Requires some groundskeeping (no landscaping), but to pick up debriefs, maintain green areas.</li></ul></li><li><p><b>
Education</b>:</p><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
