What you&rsquo;ll do:</div><ul><li>
Must have 2+ years high-volume recent bartending experience</li><li>
You have excellent communication skills, can stand for long periods of time, and are able to lift up to 25 pounds.</li><li>
Provide great hospitality by going above and beyond for every guest</li><li>
Know the menu and be able to make genuine recommendations</li><li>
Have a strong knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits. Know basic cocktail recipes</li><li>
Keep it clean. You&rsquo;re fanatical about clutter.</li><li>
Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment</li><li>
Respond to on-the-fly requests with ease and poise</li><li>
Understand POS systems and OpenTable (or other digital/online reservation systems)</li><li>
Follow all alcoholic beverage laws, company policies and procedures</li><li>
Availability to work weekends and some holidays</li><li>

Provide exceptional bar service by preparing and serving beverages efficiently and courteously. Maintain bar cleanliness, manage inventory, handle cash transactions, and ensure compliance with hotel and legal standards.
 
 
The Bartender is responsible for consistently delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the hotel by accomplishing performance objectives covering the social venues of the hotel. The bartender sets-up, services, and breaks-down the bar area ensuring a high level of quality, consistency and service.

Qualifications
<ul><li>Minimum 21 years old</li>
<li>2+ years of experience as a bartender or barback</li>
<li>Food Handling Certificate</li>
<li>TIPS certification</li>
<li>Proficient in English (spoken and written)</li>
<li>Strong math, organization, and multitasking skills</li>
<li>Able to lift to 25 lbs. or more and stand for 8&ndash;10 hours</li>
<li>Experience with POS and basic computer systems</li>
</ul>Expected Hours of Work
<ul><li>Flexibility to work variable days, including weekends and holidays, is required.</li>
<li>Flexibility to work variable shifts (days, nights,) is essential.</li>
</ul>Key Responsibilities
<ul><li>Greet guests, take orders, and serve drinks and food using upselling techniques</li>
<li>Prepare beverages per recipe, including cocktails, coffee drinks, and wine service</li>
<li>Manage bar setup, cleanliness, restocking, and closing duties</li>
<li>Maintain inventory levels, track usage, place orders, and monitor waste</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with liquor laws, health regulations, and safety standards</li>
<li>Operate POS system, handle payments, and perform accurate cash handling duties</li>
<li>Provide guest information about menu items and hotel services</li>
<li>Handle guest complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction</li>
<li>Assist with private events, and other service areas as needed</li>
