Description 
 
We are currently seeking a PR Manager for our corporate communications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the communications strategy and proactively managing activity with media and content creators to drive understanding and excitement around Apple Retail in the US and around the world. This role will also focus on increasing awareness of existing programs and broadening relationships with media and content creators on established and emerging platforms. 
 
The PR Manager will work daily with consumer, tech, business, and regional media as well as content creators across tech and lifestyle, manage new store openings, support product launches across Retail, develop momentum campaigns, and handle regular reactive media inquiries. 
 
Preferred Qualifications 
 
Experience developing and executing creative PR campaigns - including social-first campaigns - that drove meaningful impact and conveyed a clear understanding of specific audiences. 
 
Experience in media relations and a developed network of media contacts in creative, tech, design, and cultural platforms. 
 
Self-motivated, possessing a positive team-player attitude and a passion for social media, creative storytelling, culture, relationship building, consumer technology and the customer experience. 
 
Effectively builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization. 
 
Develops and delivers effective communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. 
 
Analyses complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. 
 
Understands internal and external stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs. 
 
Successfully delivered creative PR campaigns that have created meaningful impact. 
 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling pitches.

Excellent project management and organizational skills, as well as superb attention to detail. 
 
Proven experience working on large-scale, international, time-critical projects. 
 
BS/BA or equivalent experience.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,800 and $221,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

 The PR Manager will drive global communications for Apple&rsquo;s fitness and sports technology initiatives. Working with PR teams in the US and internationally, you will build and implement our fitness and sports strategy for wearables, lead creative initiatives that showcase how Apple&rsquo;s product and service ecosystem helps users live healthier lives, and drive narratives on how our technology supports professional sports teams and organizations. You will also identify and manage issues in fast-moving news cycles, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, third-party partners, and developers.
 
 
 Candidates should have strong media relations skills across fitness, sports, and emerging media, and experience working with a diverse range of creators and audiences in the fitness space. Demonstrated experience managing launches, successful momentum campaigns, and organic creator fitness events is essential.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities

 Cultivate and manage a diverse pool of media and digital creator relationships across the sports, fitness, health, and lifestyle sectors.
 </li>

 Drive strategic planning and execution of external communications for Apple&rsquo;s fitness narrative across product launches, feature announcements, and ongoing PR programs, with a focus on Apple Watch and AirPods.

 <li>
 Create and execute high-impact launch and momentum strategies that keep Apple&rsquo;s wearables and fitness narrative top of mind year-round.

 Concept and lead the execution of press and creator events&mdash;from intimate briefings to larger scale experiential creator events that deliver earned results.

 Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Fitness Technologies, Marcom, and Buzz Marketing to support launch moments and develop integrated momentum strategies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS<ul><li>
Applies the nursing process to evaluate patient health. This may include scheduled visits, walk-in patients and patient contact through phone or other remote technology, including outreach calls when patient&rsquo;s chief complaints in appointment notes warrant further triage.</li><li>
Assists with high acuity office visits: Initial patient intake, Point of care testing, Wound care, Assisting in procedures, Blood draws, EKGs, Discharge education and follow-up</li><li>
Collaborates with team members to implement a plan of care appropriate to the current situation. Obtains medical records as necessary</li><li>
Provides clinical oversight and training to Medical Assistants. Will fill in for all MA tasks as needed, including rooming for providers and inbox coverage.</li><li>
Triages patients (phone, chat, walk-in); Coordinates same-day care and continuing care with respective care team and/or services appropriately; Educate and counsel patients on treatment options based on their reported signs, medical history and symptoms; Follow up with patients who have been deferred to ER or urgent care.</li><li>
Collaborates with other RNs and delegates to MAs where appropriate to cover daily RN schedule</li><li>
Utilizes scope of existing standing orders and applicable nursing diagnoses.</li><li>
Dispenses and administers medications.</li><li>
Manage medication refills for care team. When appropriate, submits refills in accordance with existing standing orders and completes prior authorizations</li><li>
Implements appropriate patient education programs to meet the individual health care needs.</li><li>
Assess patient complaints that might be escalated from Care Navigators, Care Coordinators. and Medical Assistants</li><li>
Prioritize live phone calls from pharmacies, laboratories and specialists offices, etc</li><li>
Work closely within care team to close patient care gaps and meet established quality metrics for patient care</li><li>
Documents all patient interactions following clinic guidelines.</li><li>
Continually evaluates overall patient care flow and intervenes to maintain optimum time lines.</li><li>
