About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai within the Netsu Kitchen, the Commis 1 will carry out all required operational tasks and duties in the kitchen under the guidance of the respective Senior Chefs, with the overall objective to prepare food in a timely manner as per quality and food safety standard.
As Commis 1, you will be responsible for the following duties:<ul>

Washes and peels ingredients in order for them to be used in the production of dishes.</li>

Ensure that all mise en place is prepared to the highest quality as per standards set by the superiors.</li>

Ensure the set up and replenishment of buffets.</li>
<li>
Assist superiors in the pickup of requisition and in organizing it in the corresponding storage.</li>
