How does it work? Every school day you&rsquo;ll see groups of up to 3 students for 20&ndash;30 minutes of math practice. When your time together is up, you&rsquo;ll help your students return to their classroom(s) and pick up your next group for tutoring. You&rsquo;ll repeat until all your students are served.</p><div></div><p><br>
With the extra attention and support, incredible growth happens. As your students build their skills and confidence, you&rsquo;ll be there to encourage, celebrate, and cheer them on!</p><div></div><p><br>

A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States</li><li>

We are currently hiring for the 2026-27 school year. Positions run August 2026&ndash;June 2027.</p><ul><li>
35 hours per week (less in weeks with holidays or school release days)</li><li>
Daytime hours (corresponding with school start and end times)</li><li>
Monday-Friday (no weekends)</li><li>
Time off on holidays and school release days</li></ul><div></div><p><br>
Part-time positions are also available at 25 and 15 hours per week!</p><p>
AmeriCorps positions include a total service-hour commitment for the program year. Most hours are completed through regular site-based service; members work with program staff to plan their schedule and may occasionally complete approved service or training outside of the school day as needed.</p><div></div><div><b><br>

Role Overview<p>
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Math Tutors who are confident teaching a range of math subjects from 6th grade through college level. This is a fully remote contract role with flexible scheduling. Tutors who are comfortable with a broad range of math topics and who understand the U.S. curriculum are able to connect with more students.</p>

To ensure the best experience for students, applicants must meet all requirements listed below.</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree</li><li>Minimum 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience</li><li>At least 1 year of relevant U.S. teaching or tutoring experience</li><li>Must have taught or tutored within the past 2 years</li><li>At least 1 year of online tutoring experience</li><li>Strong understanding of the U.S. curriculum and grading standards</li><li>Ability to tutor a range of Math subjects between 6th grade and college level</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Tutors with availability during peak hours (Monday through Thursday, 3 to 10 PM ET) can connect with more students. Broader weekday and weekend availability is a plus</li><li>Fast and reliable internet connection</li><li>Computer or laptop with microphone and camera. A stylus pen is highly recommended for clear annotations</li><li>Quiet and professional environment</li></ul><p><b><br>
