This role is based in our Nida Kule Esentepe, Şişli, İstanbul, T&uuml;rkiye office.
Reports to: Marketing Director
The Role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and ensuring delivery of the marketing programs to support the expansion and growth of the brand. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of data acquisition and growth, marketing automation and building brand awareness and communities.
You&rsquo;ll be strategic and tactical, with the ability to approach campaigns holistically, utilising resources internally and externally to help share the stories and messaging. You will meticulously measure the output of your efforts, continuously improving the campaign to ensure commercial objectives are met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver marketing campaigns in line with business objectives</li><li>
Deploy successful digital marketing campaigns from ideation to execution, including generating MQL, SEO enhancements, email marketing and social media</li><li>
Create engaging and compelling customer experience through virtual or physical b2b events (trade shows)</li><li>
Manage costs and optimise spend across marketing channels and prove ROI</li><li>
Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups</li><li>
Manage marketing agencies (social, PPC or other) to effectively deliver</li><li>
Experience of building/growing a database and using effective segmentation to reach the right audience with tailored messaging</li><li>
Plan and optimise social media channels for maximum impact through experimenting with various organic and paid content and community management</li><li>
Coordinate the design and production of all marketing collateral including the website, brochures, print and digital advertisements, web banners and event branding and make sure they are proofed, adhere to brand guidelines, and agreed standards</li><li>
Track and analyse consumer behaviour and adjust campaigns accordingly</li><li>
Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals</li></ul>
LEADERSHIP<ul><li>
Line manages marketers across a range of B2B products, primarily events</li><li>
Provide guidance, feedback, and inspiration to line reports</li><li>
Champion the adoption and optimisation of marketing technology solutions and digital marketing</li><li>
Work with line reports to ensure successful delivery of marketing campaigns in line with agreed KPIs, event and divisional strategy</li><li>
Work with line reports to develop skills and competencies and ensure they have a clear development roadmap</li><li>
Ensure line reports are competent and have the skills and training required</li><li>
Ensure optimisation of marketing technology solutions, identify training needs, and ensure line reports are technically proficient</li><li>
Reflect the high-performance culture of the marketing team</li><li>
Work with Group Marketing Manager to ensure proper structure, specialisms, and level of resources to meet agreed KPI's</li></ul>
ANALYSIS &amp; INSIGHT<ul><li>
Monitor campaign performance by producing relevant and timely reports</li><li>
Recommend changes to campaign execution based on data insights</li><li>
Share relevant insights with sales, event team and management to drive revenues or pursue new opportunities</li><li>
Analyse and report trends over time and use these insights to build more effective campaigns</li><li>
Capture and analyse relevant and timely data on our customers, prospects and the markets via onsite &amp; post-show surveys, registration forms, industry research</li><li>
Work with internal teams to ensure data governance and data management policies are adhered to</li><li>
Ensure delivery and accuracy of pre-agreed reports during and post-campaign to monitor channel effectiveness and ROI</li><li>
Use recommended campaign analytics dashboards to monitor performance</li><li>
Build a culture of testing and metrics-driven decision making in the teams</li><li>
Share case studies with marketers within the group, division, and Informa Markets</li></ul>
PLANNING &amp; CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT<ul><li>
Work with the event team to plan product marketing campaigns to meet strategic objectives &ndash; for exhibitions and virtual/hybrid events</li><li>
Monitor operational implementation plans and ensure adherence to deadlines (including Gantt charts, Time &amp; Action Plans, Content Calendars, Budget Trackers)</li><li>
Monitor engagement with target media, associations, industry partners and social media influencers and help the team determine how they fit within the integrated campaign</li><li>
Development of marketing budgets in line with plans and ensure budget trackers are up to date</li><li>
Recommend external suppliers and ensure adherence to contractual terms and delivery</li><li>
Work with internal teams and external agencies to deliver digital marketing, social media, and PR in line with marketing plans to hit agreed KPI's</li><li>
Ensure optimisation of spend across marketing channels</li><li>
Agree on paid media requirements and guide the negotiation of media buying (either directly or through an agency)</li><li>
Recommend website strategy to maximise relevant traffic and conversion</li></ul>
MARKETING EXECUTION<ul><li>
Identify the target universe and key segments within the target universe</li><li>
Develop personas, value propositions and messaging for each of the key segments for each product</li><li>
Ensure that timely, relevant communications are sent through a full mix of channels and are optimised for each channel</li><li>
Monitor and recommend adjustments to the digital marketing activity based on performance metrics</li><li>
Manage the Content Calendar to ensure delivery through the most relevant channels (email marketing, social media, digital marketing, direct mail etc.)</li><li>
Manage the PR plan (internal or external) and liaise with the event manager/event director</li><li>
Establish relationships with and manage strategic partners to ensure maximum exposure at the lowest cost</li><li>
Ensure the maintenance of active social media channels in line with market expectations, monitor engagement and maximise conversion</li><li>
Oversee the design and production of all marketing collateral to be determined within the marketing plan</li><li>
Ensure all marketing collateral, email marketing, website content and digital marketing is thoroughly proofed, adheres to brand guidelines, and agreed Informa standards</li></ul>

 Colgate-Palmolive is seeking an experienced Social Media and Influencer Lead to develop, implement, and manage our comprehensive Social Media and Influencer strategy for Colgate-Palmolive across our top-priority brands and markets in AfricaEurasia. This role will play an important, change management part in driving our &ldquo;Social-first&rdquo; approach within the entire division.
 
 
 This role is paramount in positioning social media and creator content as a core omni-channel demand generation driver, responsible for significantly increasing our brand relevance and social engagement. A key focus will be leveraging creators and influencers to serve as a high-volume, authentic content engine for our brands, driving measurable business outcomes, from upper-funnel awareness and consideration to conversion.
 
 
 The ideal candidate is a strategic leader and a hands-on player with a proven track record in developing high-impact organic and paid social strategies, managing large-scale influencer campaigns, and driving measurable results across diverse platforms (e.g. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Facebook).
 
 
 This role will serve as our in-house subject matter expert, partnering closely with the Hub digital &amp; media team, brand teams and agency partners to drive growth and ensure digital executional excellence.
 
 
 
 Principal Duties And Responsibilities

 Lead, define and implement change management across the division as we move into a social-first mind set - this role will need to lead and drive influence across the division and hub teams to reach social and influencer goals

 Develop and execute a robust Social Media &amp; Influencer strategy tailored to our AED brands and markets to drive brand love, community growth, and conversion
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with Division and Hub brand teams to make sure that our social media strategies, plans and executions drive and meet our Brand Growth Plans
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive partnership and expertise with our agency partners across Division and Hubs to make sure that we are always working with the best partners and teams
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee all organic and paid social media activities across key platforms, focusing on driving high engagement rates, brand visibility, and qualified traffic to brand and selected e-commerce sites
 </li>
 <li>
 Design, implement, and manage our comprehensive Influencer Marketing program, including identification, outreach, contracting, content briefing, and performance tracking across micro, macro, and celebrity tiers
 </li>
 <li>
 Guide the content creation in creating platform-native, engaging, and culturally relevant content that optimizes for algorithmic discovery (e.g. TikTok For You Page, Instagram Reels), leveraging trending formats and audio
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and optimize all paid social media campaigns (e.g META Ads, TikTok Ads) to maximize ROAS (Return On Ad Spend) and minimize CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) alongside the Hub teams and agency partners
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct regular social listening and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer sentiment, and best practices, adapting our strategy quickly to maintain relevance
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform A/B testing on content formats, ad creatives, community engagement tactics, and influencer outreach models to drive continuous improvement
 </li>
 <li>
 Define, monitor, and report on KPIs for all social media and influencer initiatives (e.g. engagement rate, reach, follower growth, sentiment, conversion), preparing detailed reports for senior management with actionable insights
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as the central in-house expert on social media and influencer marketing, providing guidance, training, and best practices to local subsidiary digital teams
 </li>

 Ensure strict compliance with all local regulations and platform policies regarding content disclosure, data privacy, and influencer transparency

 Education, Experience, &amp; Skill Requirements

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

 5+ years of hands-on experience managing complex social media and influencer marketing strategies for a large brand (FMCG preferable) or agency

 A creative mindset with the ability to define a seamless creative approach across social, influencers and content
 </li>

 Keen awareness of social media trends and how they can be translated into best-in-class social media strategies and content execution
 </li>

 Proven track record of successfully building brand presence, engagement and managing complex paid social campaigns

 Expert knowledge of key social media analytics platforms (e.g. META Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager) and social listening/monitoring tools
