Position Summary

This position will be responsible for strategic multiple people functions and partnership with the global people and culture team to ensure the strategies and initiatives are met. You will oversee the US and Global team talent management strategies and oversee functions of recruitment, compliance, benefits, compensation, and employee relations activities etc. 
The role ensures operational plans are aligned with Seed business objectives and contributes to functional strategy development. You will be engaged to support a culture that fosters the performance and well-being of our staff members and serve as a trusted advisor to line managers. The incumbent work closely with the Global People and Culture Director in implementing Global strategic priorities in the US and global. 
As the People and Culture Generalist primarily covering the US and supporting global teams, the ideal candidate will bring strategic global compensation and benefits experience, hands-on operational people management expertise, exceptional project management skills and a passion for fostering a positive work environment. Reporting to the Global Director of People &amp; Culture, the People and Culture Generalist will work proactively with cross-functional teams in all our operational countries, USA, Malawi, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Zambia and our Global teams. Duties and Responsibilities 
Strategic Engagement:
<ul><li>As part of the Global People and Culture team, contribute to strategic P&amp;C strategy of Seed.</li>
<li>Be a strategic partner to the US managers and staff to ensure strategic people and culture goals, policies and programs are aligned US staff needs and Seed business initiatives.</li>

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

<li>Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations</li>
<li>Manage orientation for all staff and educators with the support of the leadership team and working closely with the Global Director.</li>

<li>Assist with onboarding and orientation of staff and educators into HR systems and the organization&rsquo;s culture and values.</li>

Employee Relations:

Performance Management:

<li>Assist in the performance management process and help managers set clear performance expectations for staff and educators.</li>

Compensation and Benefits:

<li>Assist in the development and administration of competitive compensation and benefits packages in accordance with Seed polices and best practices.</li>

<li>Understanding of payroll management in a multistate employer setting (registrations and taxes);</li>

Learning and Development:

Global Compliance and Policy Management:

<li>Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in all regions where the organization operates.</li>

HR Data Management and Reporting:

<li>Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases for all employees.</li>
<li>Analyze HR data to identify trends and assist in decision-making related to workforce planning, retention, and engagement.</li>
<li>Prepare reports on HR metrics such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and diversity and provide analysis for HR program delivery and continuous improvement of the services, prepare regular monthly, quarterly, and annual global HR reports as requested</li>

Qualifications

<li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field</li>
<li>5 to 8 years of prior Human Resources Generalist experience, 3+ years of Human Resources Business partner experience</li>

Compensation 

At Seed, our compensation and benefits framework follows a global methodology while adapting to country-specific contexts, ensuring equity across roles and locations. 
The annual base salary range for this position is USD 90,600 - 104,900. This compensation is subject to statutory taxes.

As a Night Stocker, you provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. You keep the store looking filled and fresh by stocking and organizing merchandise on the shelves. You work with various approved tools throughout your shift (box cutters, compactors, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) to help you get your job done. The Night Stocker is the magic behind the scenes who creates that attractive store appearance for our customers through ensuring it&rsquo;s stocked, clean, and bright. This individual also gets the opportunity to expand their experiences as cashier or checker from time to time.
