   Fully familiar with movement of floating units and all aspects of marine operations connected with the offshore industry including PSV, AHTS, offshore construction vessels, Heavy Lift Vessels/Barges/JUB/Diving &amp; ROV vessels, rig moving, support operations, and marine investigation.
  </li>
  <li>
   Considerable knowledge of seaport rules, regulations, policies, and procedures pertaining to vessel movements, port and cargo operation activities, and offshore operations with a good working knowledge of regulations for the Offshore Industry.
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong knowledge of class rules, flag state requirements, IMO/IACS standards, and offshore marine regulations.
  </li>
  <li>
   Conduct inspections of marine units and follow up audits and surveys to ensure compliance with industry standards and company contract requirements.

   Preferable experience on Dynamic Positioning vessels (DP2, DP3 Class) with significant sailing experience on more than one of the following: Offshore Supply Vessels, AHTS, ASD Tug, rig move/towing, Jack-up barge, or subsea vessels.

   OCIMF Accredited OVID Inspector or adequate experience to support accreditation.

   Reports any issues with boat, navigational equipment, engines and other equipment to Port Captain to be forwarded to technical manager and copied to Guest Fleet Operations manager

   Responsible for addressing passenger concerns properly
  </li>

   Ensures proper lashing and stowing of passenger luggage and cargo
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensures good condition of all mooring ropes and berthing equipment
  </li>

   Conducts departure checks and reports to the operations team if any equipment is found to be defective

   Reports to Coast Guard and other relevant agencies when needed
  </li>

   Takes charge and preserves all boat certificates and manuals including the registration card

   Reports any crew absence or deficiency

   Ensures that fire panel is in operational condition
