As a Regulatory Data Team Leader, you will lead a cross-functional team in the delivery of regulatory reporting software solutions.
The Data Engineering department is responsible for writing software and reporting systems to communicate jurisdiction-specific information to international regulators. They are developed to high standards, tuned for performance and reliability with low tolerances for error.
We're using an architecture that includes high-throughput, database-centric distributed applications, that supports batch reporting, integrates with SOAP and REST APIs, and features Windows and web services, as well as web applications.

Job Description 
As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in creating, migrating, and maintaining regulatory reporting systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The Regulatory Data team is a crucial function of the Data Engineering department, responsible for building and maintaining near real-time and batch reporting systems to fulfil regulatory requirements. The team utilises complex Business logic to transform internal data models into those required by industry regulators and third parties.
Using your passion for delivering innovative solutions you will support our continued migration from on-premise SQL Server systems to GCP as the team creates new GCP reporting systems
You will support this migration while also developing new cloud-native solutions and exploring AI-driven development and automation to improve efficiency, consistency and reliability across the team's processes.

Developing and maintaining regulatory data submission systems, both existing on-premise and new cloud-based solutions in GCP/BigQuery.</li><li>
Building and maintaining automated data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and loading of regulatory data.</li><li>
Supporting the migration of legacy SQL Server solutions to BigQuery, working closely with seniors and technical leads on architecture and data modelling.</li><li>
Implementing data validation, monitoring, and alerting to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of regulatory submissions.</li><li>
Leveraging AI tooling, such as Claude Code, and contributing to the team's automation strategies to reduce manual effort and improve quality.</li><li>
Participating in code reviews and adhere to departmental standards and the development process.</li><li>
Conducting QA to ensure solutions are accurate, efficient, and performant.</li><li>
Creating and maintaining relevant documentation.</li><li>

Location:Mission Mars Support Office (Manchester) &ndash; office based role with 1 day working from home (if preferred) and travel to sites 
The Role
You&rsquo;ll play a key role in supporting the People team to deliver an exceptional people experience for our colleagues.
The main focus of the role sits within the Talent team,supporting the team to attract and recruit the best people to join our business. This will include high volume recruitment for new openings and peak periods.
This role has a strong operational,administrative,and systems focus. You&rsquo;ll ensure recruitment processes run smoothly,efficiently,and consistently,while delivering a brilliant candidate and hiring manager experience that reflects our Mission Mars brand.
The other key element of the role is support our Engagement and Internal Communications team in delivering an exceptional colleague experience through engaging communications,people and culture events and initiatives. This element of the role requires high levels of organisation,creativity and willingness to be hands on and work on dynamic projects and large scale events.

Talent Responsibilities<ul><li>
Manage end-to-end recruitment for junior &amp; mid management-level roles</li><li>
Manage high volumes of recruitment administration,including onboarding,right to work checks,reference checks</li><li>
Support high-volume recruitment campaigns such as new site openings,seasonal recruitment,and peak trading periods (e.g. Oktoberfest and Christmas).</li><li>
Ensure a consistent and positive brand experience for all candidates</li><li>
Maintain our ATS and related systems,ensuring compliance standards are met</li><li>
Schedule and coordinate interviews efficiently,ensuring candidates and hiring managers are fully briefed and prepared</li><li>
Conduct professional,engaging telephone and in person interviews</li><li>
Provide clear,timely communication to candidates throughout any recruitment process.</li></ul> 
Engagement Responsibilities<ul><li>
Draft and distribute internal communications &ndash; writing newsletters,announcements,or updates to keep colleagues informed and engaged across the business.</li><li>
Coordinate people and culture events &ndash; organising logistics for team socials,company-wide events,celebrations,or recognition initiatives from start to finish.</li><li>
Support engagement initiatives &ndash; helping to deliver employee engagement programmes,surveys,or campaigns that promote a positive workplace culture.</li><li>
Maintain communication channels &ndash; keeping internal platforms up to date with relevant and timely content.</li><li>
Track and report on engagement activity &ndash; monitoring attendance,feedback,and participation in events or initiatives and sharing insights with the wider team.</li></ul> 
About You
