Responsibilities include performing experiments, taking care of animals, collecting and analyzing data, maintaining accurate research records, and assisting with general laboratory operations. Responsible for the administrative aspects of the research study, including: managing program records and handling communication needs of the program.</li>

<li>Perform administrative duties associated with the study&rsquo;s Data Monitoring and Safety Board, tracking and reporting adverse events and collecting data specified by the DSMB. Responsible for all other administrative duties related to research activities.</li>

The Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension Treatment and Research Initiative (IIH-TRI) is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Research Assistant II to join our translational research and clinical trial program.<br>

This individual will support core projects of the IIH-TRI, including: (i) the study of hormonal, metabolic, and genetic factors in IIH as part of the Harvard Biomarkers Study 2.0; (ii) MRI analysis of glymphatic transit to understand IIH pathophysiology and improve diagnostic accuracy; and (iii) and an investigator initiated clinical trial. Working under the supervision of the Administrative Director of the CNCT and the Principal Investigators.<br>

This role may be responsible for the following activities: making independent judgments of the suitability of potential participants for clinical trials, developing and implementing patient recruitment strategies, recommending protocol changes, and overseeing the work of more entry-level staff. Collecting and organizing patient data; scheduling patients for study visits; performing clinical tests such as phlebotomy, EKGs, etc.; maintaining and updating data generated by the study; all IRB submissions such as applications, amendments, annual reviews, and adverse events.

Wetlab procedures could include processing of patient samples for biobanking or running analyses on previously biobanked samples.
