If you thrive in energetic settings and take pride in maintaining cleanliness standards, this is the perfect opportunity for you to shine!Duties<ul><li>Thoroughly wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand, following proper sanitation procedures.</li><li>Sort and organize clean items for storage or immediate use to ensure efficient kitchen operations.</li><li>Regularly monitor dishwashing equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and surrounding floors, to uphold health and safety standards.</li><li>Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes to keep the kitchen environment tidy and compliant with regulations.</li><li>Support kitchen staff by providing clean dishes and utensils quickly during busy service times.</li><li>Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling, sanitation procedures, and equipment operation to ensure a safe working environment.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with efficiency and accuracy.</li><li>Strong attention to detail to ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health standards.</li><li>Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen team members.</li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.</li><li>Knowledge of basic safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use is a plus but not mandatory. Job Summary</h2>
</div><div>The Restaurant &amp; Cafe Manager at the Baltimore Convention Center is responsible for working alongside the Assistant Director of Operations to oversee our Operations team at the location &ndash; ensuring high standards of the guest experience, safety, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will be an experienced food and beverage leader. A great coach who can get the best out of people and continually drive operational performance and execution.<div>
Detailed Responsibilities 
<ul><li>Understands all menus, product offerings, packaging and pricing</li><li>Ensures all concession areas have proper displays and merchandise</li><li>Executes all security, safety and sanitation standards</li><li>Provides operational planning to ensure appropriate teaming levels are met, as well as adequate products ordered to service each concession event</li><li>Follows and executes preventative maintenance schedule as set forth by Director of Concessions</li><li>Holds team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest service</li><li>Ensures show quality standards are maintained at all times</li><li>Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, not-for-profits and Levy team members</li><li>Regularly obtains feedback from clients and guests to improve operations</li><li>Responds and assists in any departmental guest service issues</li><li>Executes all menus, promotions and programs as outlined by the Director of Operations/Department Head in accordance with Levy standards</li><li>Achieves daily sales and assigned cost goals</li><li>Achieves assigned budget goals</li><li>Follows and enforces responsible alcohol service policies</li><li>Effectively verifies all opening and closing inventories</li><li>Executes required daily reporting in a timely manner</li><li>Ensures required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month-end closing</li><li>Ensures team members adhere to Levy Company guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook</li><li>Forecasts and adequately schedules team members to meet operational needs and desired targets</li><li>Ensures proper cash handling procedures are being performed</li><li>Ensures assigned areas are fully stocked and are ready for operation</li><li>Ensures complete maintenance and on-site training of the current POS system and concession equipment</li><li>Conducts regularly scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team members</li><li>Interviews, hires, trains and develops team members according to Levy guidelines</li><li>Other responsibilities, as needed</li></ul></div><div>
Job Requirements 
<ul><li>3+ years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Hospitality Management is preferred</li><li>High level of computer literacy</li><li>Understanding of financial concepts</li><li>Passion for hospitality, food, and retail</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills</li></ul></div></div></div></div>
