   Prepares and develops material take off for the I&amp;C discipline

   Assist in performing managerial tasks as requested, such as assigning tasks to engineers; planning and coordinating portions of the engineering work; preparing scopes, schedules, and budgets; attending project meetings; and developing lesser-experienced technical professionals

   May serve as the Lead Engineer and/or discipline technical authority when required on small to medium complexity projects. In such capacity will take responsibility and ownership for cost, schedule, resource allocation and risk.

<p><b>Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries:</b></p>
<ul><li>Willing to relocate to Qatar for 3 &ndash; 5 years (with family if married)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Able to work outside under inclement conditions</li></ul>
<ul><li>Able to successfully complete assignments with minimal supervision</li></ul><br>

<p><b>Required Skills and Experience:</b></p>
<ul><li>Diploma in Instrumentation Technology from a recognized institution.</li></ul>
<ul><li>At least 10 years of &ldquo;Hands on&rdquo; experience in on-site Maintenance support of large-scale petrochemical</li></ul>
<p>installations or similar industries.</p>
<ul><li>Extensive experience on Electronic Filed Instrumentation such as transmitters, control valves, vibration</li></ul>
<p>transducers, on line analyzers, flow metering systems etc.</p>
<ul><li>Experience on Honeywell and Rosemount SMART transducers, Valtek Control Valves, Bently Nevada</li></ul>
<p>vibration monitoring systems, ABB gas chromatographs will be considered an added advantage.</p>
<ul><li>Experience on Honeywell DCS, Triconix ESD system and Modicon /Hima PLCS is preferable.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Well versed with Hazardous Area classification and selection of equipment.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Should be capable of developing PM plans/Check Lists and Job instructions in the assigned areas.</li></ul>
<ul><li>A working knowledge of DCS/PLCS is a must.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Previous experience on Spares management would be an additional plus.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Hands on experience on Maintenance Management System such as SAP or Maximo are required.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Should be a computer literate and capable of working independently with Microsoft Office.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Familiarity with National and International codes and standards.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Should be capable of supervising contractor manpower during project execution.</li></ul>

</div></div><div><p>JD OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (OFFSHORE) QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE &bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering (or equivalent). &bull; 5&ndash;10 years&rsquo; experience in oil &amp; gas projects, with at least 3 years in brownfield construction/commissioning. &bull; Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems: LV/MV distribution, motors, transformers, UPS, lighting, field instruments, analyzers, control valves, DCS/PLC systems, F&amp;G systems. &bull; Familiarity with international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, ISA, API, ATEX, etc.). CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT &bull; Review IFC drawings, specifications, vendor documents, and method statements for constructability. &bull; Support site execution teams in cable routing, terminations, tray installation, lighting, earthing, junction boxes, and equipment hook-up. &bull; Ensure construction activities comply with project safety standards, QA/QC procedures, and international codes (IEC, NEC, IEEE, ISA, etc.). &bull; Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and piping disciplines for interface management in brownfield conditions. BROWNFIELD-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES &bull; Carry out site surveys to assess existing installations and identify tie-in points for modifications. &bull; Evaluate shutdown work packs, ensuring constructability within tight shutdown/turnaround windows. &bull; Support simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) planning, ensuring safety of live plant systems during modifications. &bull; Identify potential clashes and propose field engineering solutions.</p></div></div><p></p>
