 Primary Purpose Of The Job
 
 
 
 The Telecom services systems engineer primary role to designs, develops, and implements state-of-the-art telecommunications technology architectures and solutions for optimal availability, resiliency, and scalability of telecommunication infrastructure to integrate and deliver telecommunication applications and services across the corporation. The incumbent logistically and technically coordinates and works with ICT divisions/units, corporate project managers, and external entities to deliver services and meet projected milestones in addition to an integral role in operation, management and support of related systems.

Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent</li><li>Minimum 5 years of extensive experience in Fiber Optic Networks</li><li>Strong experience in:</li><li>Installation</li><li>Splicing</li><li>Testing</li><li>Commissioning</li><li>Hands-on experience with:</li><li>OTDR</li><li>Fusion Splicing Machine</li><li>Optical Power Meter</li><li>Laser Source</li><li>Must have attended certified Fiber Optic technical trainings</li><li>Preferred experience with:</li><li>Ooredoo</li><li>QNBN</li><li>Vodafone Qatar</li><li>Valid Qatar Driving License</li><li>Fluent English (Arabic is an advantage)</li><li>Computer literate (MS Office &amp; AutoCAD)</li></ul>Detailed Responsibilities:<ul><li>Operation &amp; Maintenance of Kahramaa Fiber Optic backbone network</li><li>Perform cable laying, jointing, termination &amp; splicing activities</li><li>Conduct OTDR testing and analyze attenuation reports</li><li>Execute Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)</li><li>Perform commissioning of new fiber links</li><li>Network route planning &amp; route survey coordination</li><li>Attend fiber cuts and emergency faults (24/7 standby)</li><li>Prepare technical reports &amp; testing documentation</li><li>Conduct preventive inspections and network audits</li><li>Coordinate with control centers and contractors</li></ul>Job Type: PermanentPay: QAR16,000.00 - QAR22,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Current Salary?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Fiber Optic Networks: 5 years (Preferred)</li></ul>
