Some of 9 Kaufman's vascular surgeries include aortic aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, femoral bypass surgeries and amputations. 9 Kaufman is an extension of the renal/pancreas transplant team to include the outpatient transplant center and all the nurses on 9 Kaufman are specially trained and can sit for the PCCN certification which we will help you obtain. All the beds on 9 Kaufman are monitored beds. 9 Kaufman cares for a variety of patients with telemetry needs, providing an environment conducive to extensive learning and skill development. Immediate surgical recovery of Kidney and Pancreas Transplant.</li><li>
General Surgical Patients requiring ICU.Management of patients requiring mechanical ventilation.</li><li>
Management of patients requiring CRRT and hemo-dialysis.Vascular: lower extremity revascularization, Abdominal Aortic Aneurism, Mesenteric Artery Repair, EVAR, TEVAR, Lower extremity bypass, revascularization, Carotid Endarectomy and Carotid Stent, EKOS- treatment for DVTs, Medical management of AAA&rsquo;s and dissections.General</li><li>
Patient Population Served: Adult medical and surgical patients requiring intensive nursing care.</li><li>

The Central Sterile Services Technician I is responsible for the decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments, medical equipment, and supplies used in patient care. This position operates and maintains sterilization equipment according to established procedures and standards.
