The Surface and Ground Water Engineer will coordinate all the works related to its scope of works.Responsibilities (but not limited to):<ul><li>Understanding of the gravity networks (surface ground water) and its operability. Sound knowledge of principles of hydrology and hydraulics.</li><li>
Demonstrated understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling/design software packages used in the design of surface drainage, piped networks, cross drainage, and flood analysis, i.e., CAD skills, SWMM, HEC RAS, and HEC-HMS knowledge</li><li>
Experience with Infoworks ICM, 1D/2D is compulsory.</li><li>
Excellent command with GIS and CAD tools such as ArcMap, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microstation.</li><li>
The capability of mathematics to create calculation sheets and perform further calculations where required to ensure the design is appropriate.</li><li>
Knowledge of Water Sensitive Design and Sustainable Drainage Design (SuDS).</li><li>

 Function as a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer for a Power and Desalination Plant project, providing technical assurance over the Contractor&rsquo;s civil and structural design from commencement through completion. The role requires independent technical capability to manage, review, verify and approve all civil and structural engineering deliverables associated with a power generation and desalination facility, including complex onshore and marine infrastructure.
 
 
 The Senior Civil/Structural Engineer shall ensure suitability of civil and structural designs for site development, dynamic equipment foundations, very large prestressed potable water retaining structures, large‑scale drainage and earthworks, switching stations and electrical yards.
