Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Assistant Fire Management Officer for Regulation, the Regulation &amp; Prevention Technician position has a great influence on the quality, image, and message delivered to the general public of Washington State. This position works closely with stakeholders and other agencies and plays a leadership role in fire suppression activities. The majority of the duties will include administering and approving burn permits, interpreting/applying fire regulations and IFPL restrictions, conducting wildland fire investigations, and fire suppression. This position will act as a Wildland Fire Investigator regularly. The Regulation &amp; Prevention Technician works closely with fire suppression resources to suppress and prevent the spread of wildland fire. Other duties will include, but are not limited to, being a lead and/or unit instructor for NWCG fire courses for wildland fire training, as well as leading and participating in wildland fire prevention activities. This position will be responsible for reviewing seasonal firefighter applications, hiring, onboarding, training, and general supervision of approximately 24 seasonal firefighters. Each member of Arcadia Fire Control is also expected to participate in Wildland Fire Origin and Cause Determinations, which involves field investigation and in-office report writing. Summary: 
The Reference and Access Services Librarian will manage the daily operations of library services including circulation, reserves, and Interlibrary Loan. This role involves supervising approximately 20-25 student employees, managing the circulation desk, and providing customer service. This librarian will also work with the library team to provide reference and research services to the Keuka College community.
Essential Responsibilities:
Manage the Circulation Desk<ul><li>
Opens the library Monday through Friday.</li><li>
Supervises circulation services, physical collection maintenance, and course reserves.</li><li>
Provides comprehensive access and collection services to the Keuka College community.</li></ul>
Student Supervision<ul><li>
Hires, trains, schedules, and supervises approximately 25 student workers.</li></ul>
Interlibrary Loan<ul><li>
Oversees resource sharing and document delivery services.</li></ul>
Reference<ul><li>
Provides research assistance to faculty and students.</li><li>
Assists with creating and maintaining the library&rsquo;s LibGuide collection.</li></ul>
Technical Services<ul><li>
Performs preliminary cataloging of new materials.</li><li>
Assists with weeding the collection and identification of lost and missing items.</li></ul>
Student Engagement and Success<ul><li>
Serves as a liaison for student success initiatives at the Academic Success Center.</li><li>
Promotes library services and resources through outreach activities and promotional displays.</li></ul>
Faculty and Community Engagement/Outreach<ul><li>
Fosters a library presence at the faculty and local community levels.</li></ul>
Other<ul><li>
Responsible for ensuring that assigned tasks are completed in compliance with various institutional and regulatory requirements.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned by the Library Director.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>
Master&rsquo;s degree in library science from an ALA accredited program.</li><li>
Previous library experience in access services or related areas.</li><li>
Supervisory experience in library setting preferred.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions independently and as part of a team.</li><li>
Ability to analyze and interpret information and implement effective solutions.</li><li>
Ability to pay attention to detail and follow written and verbal instructions.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain accurate records</li><li>
Ability to be sensitive to and respond to the needs and concerns of all constituents of the College including but not limited to students, faculty, college staff and the public.</li><li>
Ability to work under pressure with a high tolerance for interruptions, and the ability to work with diverse groups of people with high degree of professionalism.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements<ul><li>
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>
Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.</li></ul>
