 This role focuses on supporting the elaboration of detailed plan and design reviews, resolving issues related to conflicting design requirements, ensuring client requirements and applicable standards are met
 
 
 Projects could include the approval of new building, conversion, and existing vessels and yachts.
 
 
 
 Key Accountabilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Review and approve hull structural drawings of ships, offshore units, and marine equipment, in compliance with Class Rules and Statutory Regulations, for new buildings, ships in service, and ship&rsquo;s conversions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist clients during the design and construction phase, providing guidance and support related to structural design.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide support for the elaboration of detailed marine engineering plan review, in compliance with applicable RINA rules, international conventions and contractual requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide support for the resolution of issues related to conflicting design requirements and material standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide direct day-to-day support and oversight of project elements, visit sites to take measurements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide direct or indirect support to engineers or engineering teams by gathering data, submitting documentation to officials and other day-to-day duties.

 Prepare the project deliverables (technical reports, project performance documentations and engineering drawings, etc.) .

The Role: The Director, Relationship Management is a non-sales position which leverages knowledge of the Commodities Industry, both hard and soft with a focus on energy to enhance relationships with customers and help them realize bottom line benefits from the use of S&P Global products.

Required Qualifications
 
Fluency in both Russian and English is essential . The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.

Ideally 10+ years’ experience in Oil & Gas, managing major or complex accounts, preferably within a commodity or financial information provider context.

You will collaborate with a diverse range of professionals, including commodity traders, banks, brokerages, producers/extractors, government departments, utilities, consultancies, and FMCG companies.
 
The Team / The Business: You will be joining a high-performing team composed of experienced professionals within the commodity industry. Your contribution will be crucial in driving the revenue growth of the S&P Global Commodity Insights business through effective sales strategies and execution.
 
Responsibilities
 
Responsible for hitting established regional net sales and retention rate targets by proactively managing a book of Business and interacting with sales teams to drive growth and provide forecast visibility.
 
Lead by example and coach generalist sales on how to follow a structured sales approach; lead with insight, diagnose needs and offer solutions aligned to customer requirements.
 
Conduct and document on Salesforce high levels of meaningful pre and after sales activities and client interactions whilst developing a growing pipeline required to meet growth targets and forecast future performance with accuracy.
 
A minimum of 20% travel will be required, including conference attendance and co-host of regional seminars.
 
Work closely with cross-functional oil teams to develop strategy, develop our offering and expand our support to our customers in the region as well as participate in ad –hoc projects to support team objectives and promote the Commodity Insights brand
 
Demonstrate sufficient CI product, technical and energy market knowledge, including the ability to present our insights, in such a way as to understand client workflows and relate how the features of our offering translate into solutions of identified client needs.
 
Required Qualifications
 
Fluency in English is essential . The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.

Ideally 3+ years experience and a proven track record in Chemicals or related commodities markets or Solution-selling background, understanding of client workflows
