The cybersecurity engineer designs, implements, and maintains the technical controls that protect an organization&rsquo;s systems, networks, and data.  Engineer and implement solutions to enhance the Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC&rsquo;s) ability to detect, respond and prevent incidents</li><li>

Develop containment and remediation strategies and coordination across security and technical teams</li><li>

Validate effective security operations controls are implemented, maintained and adapted to threat landscape</li><li>
Monitor cybersecurity events across assigned environment using advanced Security Information, Threat Intelligence, and SIEM tools to detect and respond to security threats and incidents</li><li>
Examine log source data across endpoints, databases, applications, identity, network, mobile and cloud</li><li>
Work closely with Information Technology Services (ITS), and other teams to ensure effective communication and coordination during security incidents</li><li>
Identify areas for improvement in incident response and threat detection capabilities including tools and processes</li><li>
Lead improvement plans to the development and enhancement of Cybersecurity Operations Center processes, playbooks, and procedures</li><li>
Prepare monitoring and response metrics, Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) for security events and incidents. Upon request, report on the state of the Security Operation Center to cybersecurity leaders and stakeholders</li><li>
Maintain detailed and accurate records of security incidents, including timelines, actions taken, and outcomes</li><li>
Participate and assist in deploying Managed Security Service Providers solutions</li><li>
