ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></h2><ul><li><p>
Load and unload passenger baggage, luggage, and co-mail of various weights and dimensions to and from aircraft and the airport baggage receiving area.</p></li><li><p>
Operate ground service equipment (GSE) including tugs, belt loaders, and related equipment safely and in accordance with all regulations.</p></li><li><p>
Marshal aircraft to and from gates; assist with aircraft pushback procedures.</p></li><li><p>
Provide proper handling of baggage and items requiring special care.</p></li><li><p>
Perform aircraft interior cleaning and lavatory servicing between flights.</p></li><li><p>
Assist with commissary services including loading and unloading catering carts and galley supplies to and from aircraft in coordination with catering vendors.</p></li><li><p>
Conduct aircraft security searches as required.</p></li><li><p>
Ensure ramp areas are safe, clean, and free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) at all times.</p></li><li><p>
Inspect and maintain all ground equipment in proper working order; report any deficiencies immediately.</p></li><li><p>
Communicate effectively with team members and other departments using a two-way radio.</p></li><li><p>
Assist customer service agents and passengers with special needs as directed.</p></li><li><p>
Follow all safety regulations, including proper use of ground equipment and required personal protective equipment (PPE).</p></li><li><p>
Complete all required training.</p></li><li><p>
Only complete tasks for which you are fully trained.</p></li><li><p>
Report any safety hazard or incident immediately to your supervisor.</p></li><li><p>

WORK ENVIRONMENT:</b></h2><p>
Airport ramp environment &mdash; primarily outdoors with some indoor work. Agents are exposed to a full range of weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, rain, and wind. The ramp is a high-activity area with aircraft, vehicles, and equipment operating in close proximity. Subject to constant noise, jet exhaust, and fumes. Personal protective equipment is required and provided.</p><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</b></h2><ul><li><p>
Must be able to lift and carry a 70-pound suitcase from the floor to 18 inches, and carry a 70-pound suitcase with both hands for a distance of up to 25 feet.</p></li><li><p>
Must have the physical dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and motions including bending at the waist and knees, squatting, kneeling, crawling, and twisting, and sustaining those positions for extended periods.</p></li><li><p>
Must be able to work effectively in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.</p></li><li><p>
