<li>Develop innovative policy recommendations and proposals.

<li>Help organize events and meetings with key stakeholders.</li>
<li>Represent Heritage as a speaker or participant in public functions and conferences.</li>
<li>Participate in the greater public policy community and debate on tech policy issues.</li>
<li>Effectively interact with Congressional members and staff.</li>
<li>Help prepare Congressional testimonies, state testimonies, public comments on rulemaking, and written model legislation at the state and federal level.</li>
<li>Participate in Heritage&rsquo;s internal AI Use Policy committee.</li></ul><br>
<p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>
<p>Education: B.A. in related field required
</p><p>Experience: 4+ years of research and writing experience in tech and tech policy research</p>
<p>Communication: Excellent, fast, and convincing writing for both research and commentary</p>
<p>Technology: Coding experience; Microsoft Suite, strong facility in relevant social media platforms, with LLMs such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Grok, and Claude</p><p><br>

<p>The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000 annually. This position is also eligible for a merit based annual bonus. The range is a good faith estimate, and the final salary offered to a selected candidate depends on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate&rsquo;s experience, education, and other qualifications; internal and external market pay for comparable jobs; and level of hire based on aforementioned qualifications.</p></div>
