What you'll do:

The Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Associate at NinjaTrader will play a critical role in overseeing the effective implementation and enforcement of the firm's Anti-Money Laundering Program. This individual will be responsible for monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements, conducting investigations into suspicious activities, and ensuring the firm adheres to best practices in AML compliance including Sanctions Screening and Fraud Detection/Investigation. In addition, the AML Associate will support the broader compliance team in managing and enhancing other key regulatory programs, helping to maintain the firm's commitment to a robust and proactive compliance culture.

In this role you will:
<ul>
<li>Conduct AML assessments, including transaction reviews, enhanced due diligence (EDD), and customer activity analysis to identify and escalate unusual or suspicious patterns</li>
<li>Investigate potential matches against sanctions lists, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), adverse media, and internal watchlists, ensuring timely and accurate processing</li>
<li>Conduct Transaction Monitoring reviews and investigations, taking appropriate actions based on findings</li>
<li>Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) for new clients and conduct periodic compliance reviews to ensure regulatory adherence</li>
<li>Enhance and maintain surveillance programs, internal controls, and watchlists to detect regulatory violations and meet evolving compliance standards</li>
<li>Contribute to the updates and implementation of AML policies, procedures, and internal controls in alignment with regulatory changes and best practices</li>
<li>Collaborate with stakeholders to proactively identify and resolve compliance issues, mitigating risks and aligning operations with legal obligations</li>
<li>Oversee internal control systems to ensure effectiveness in identifying and managing risks related to money laundering and financial crimes</li>
<li>Provide guidance on compliance matters, responding to inquiries from customers and management, and supporting firmwide objectives</li>

What you'll need:

<li>3&ndash;5 years of experience in an AML-related role required</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge and understanding of US BSA/AML laws and regulations</li>
<li>Experience with modern and advanced case workflow systems</li>

Compensation:

The salary range for this role will be $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 USD. In addition, this position will also receive an annual target bonus of 6%. Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on individual performance (50%) as well as company/team performance (50%).

Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader offers a 401K plan through ADP under which the company will match up to 3.5% of employee contributions. Annual paid time off allowance accrues at a rate of 18 days per year (some positions may qualify for more) plus seven paid holidays.

 POSITION SUMMARY</div><div>
The Law Student Recruiting Coordinator position will assist the Senior Law Student Recruiting Specialist with the attorney recruitment and hiring process for the Charlotte and Washington, DC offices. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with an energetic, cohesive team of knowledgeable recruiting professionals&rsquo; firm wide. The position also offers significant exposure to partners, associates, and professional staff throughout the firm. The position is uniquely situated to be highly visible for the Charlotte office and provides an excellent opportunity for cross office collaboration on strategic talent development initiatives.</div><div></div><div> 
 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</div><ul><li>
Coordinate all aspects of law student and entry‐level hiring for the Charlotte and Washington, DC offices.</li><li>
Maintain candidate application information in recruitment database (ViDesktop) and ensure accuracy of data in a timely manner, route applicant information.</li><li>
Register for on-campus interview dates and coordinate all necessary arrangements including preparing interviewing materials for attorneys and organize, track, and post interview materials.</li><li>
Prepare and upload complete law student candidate files for on‐campus interview process.</li><li>
Coordinate with law student groups regarding outreach and sponsorship events.</li><li>
Prepare and send law student interview schedules, greet, and escort candidates, solicit evaluation feedback, and prepare interview files.</li><li>
Respond to applicant and search firm inquiries and coordinate post-applicant correspondence.</li><li>
Process new associate hires including coordinating and collaborating on orientation schedules and materials/binders and assist with the conflicts and background check process.</li><li>
Complete surveys, maintain information in all Firmwide charts for the Charlotte and Washington, DC offices, and provide statistical data as needed.</li><li>
Support the Summer Program by working with the Law Student Recruiting Sr. Specialist and Summer Associate Committee to plan, coordinate and implement the summer associate program, including orientation, training, social events, assist tracking, performance evaluations and expense reimbursements.</li><li>
Process all candidate and incoming associate expense reimbursements.</li><li>
Coordinate logistics for meetings and presentations, including conference room reservations and related services.</li><li>
Coordinate Quarterly Associate Happy Hours, office-wide Welcome Receptions, and other events by communicating with outside caterers, and internal conference services and facilities departments.</li><li>
Special projects and administrative support as assigned.</li></ul><div>

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree required.</li><li>
3+ years of experience in a law firm or other professional services environment required.</li><li>

Prior recruiting experience a plus; legal recruiting experience is ideal.</li><li>
