Manufacturing Operations Manager

<div>Summary

The Supply Chain Performance Improvement Analyst is responsible for assessing, identifying, and implementing performance improvement opportunities throughout the end-to-end supply chain of the Johns Hopkins Health System. The position will leverage project management skills and software to assess and achieve implementation goals associated with identified opportunities. The position will be responsible for the development of the scope and the identification of sequential steps to implement and achieve desired performance improvement opportunities. The position will also be accountable for the development of cost-benefit analyses for identified opportunities by leveraging analytical and communication skills, including but not limited to statistical analyses, market research of operational benchmarks, and engagement with industry thought leaders to identify and develop key performance indicators (KPI&rsquo;s) to measure the impact of implemented performance improvement measures. The position will be held accountable for the development of timelines and achievement of implementation dates by leveraging project planning software, including Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Smartsheet. From time to time, the position may also be responsible for completing and maintaining routine activities for the department, including support of Procurement, Sourcing, and Logistics &amp; Distribution activities.

Education and Work Experience:

The Senior Counsel is responsible for the provision of legal advice regarding various legal matters of The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation (&ldquo;JHHS&rdquo;) and its affiliates. This position also assists the General Counsel and the Deputy General Counsel, as needed. The Employment and Labor Affairs Practice Group provides legal advice and opinions to The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation and its affiliates. Overall responsibilities are to inform clients of rights and obligations under employment and labor laws; monitor, review, and comment on proposed legislation; review and draft policies and procedures; negotiate, review, and draft various types of agreements; develop and facilitate training; represent clients before governmental agencies, in court, or during arbitration proceedings; lead, facilitate, or serve on multidisciplinary committees; develop strategic positions and review or propose courses of action; manage union avoidance activities in coordination with local labor relations offices. Senior Counsel is also responsible for advancing the professional development of practice group members.

Role Accountabilities Include:

<li>Representing clients before various local, State, and federal regulatory agencies regarding administrative charges or complaints filed by employees.</li>

Qualifications:

These require a professional level of knowledge to properly execute and analyze results, especially where results are abnormal or atypical.</li>
<li>Supports needs of the laboratory including both pre-analytical and analytical areas as assigned.</li>
<li>Provides training of both new hires, current colleagues, students, residents/fellow, and others assigned in the laboratory. Sets up and maintains equipment; monitors quality control standards.</li>
<li>Assigned tasks in bringing online new testing and programs, validation, QA, and research support.
