You will serve as a high-level consultant to management within your region on Human Resources-related issues, and you&rsquo;ll act as a change agent to foster the development of an employee-oriented company culture that embodies our organization&rsquo;s vision, mission, and culture. HR plays an important role in all businesses, but as a true partner in 48forty, the Regional HR Manager is vital to the success of our overall business!
</div>What You'll Do:
<ul><li>Formulate partnerships across the business function(s) and HR to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization</li><li>
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues - conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations</li><li>
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to field management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)</li><li>
Consult often with field management, providing HR guidance when appropriate</li><li>
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies</li><li>
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance, in many states, including California, partnering with our Legal department as needed</li><li>
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, to build morale, and to increase productivity and retention</li><li>
Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to all employees</li><li>
Deliver guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning</li><li>
Identify training needs for assigned locations and individual executive coaching needs</li><li>
Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success, then follow up to ensure training objectives are met</li></ul>
What You'll Need:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources Management or related field</li><li>
HR Certification (SHRM/PHR) preferred</li><li>
Thorough knowledge of labor legislation, including California</li><li>
3-5 years HR business partner experience required</li><li>
Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferred</li><li>
Broad working knowledge of all aspects of HR functions and business processes</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</li><li>
Proficient in Data Analytics, Microsoft Office and general computer skills</li><li>
Strong planning and execution skills</li><li>
Solid cross-functional collaboration and communication skills</li><li>
Strong writing, interpersonal and presentation skills</li><li>
Bilingual abilities (English and Spanish) a plus</li></ul>
