</li><li>Excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills.
</li><li>Experience with public speaking.

Purpose of the Position</b></p><p>
The Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission's Associate General Counsel will primarily be responsible for prosecuting administrative hearings against licensees on behalf of the Commission&rsquo;s Enforcement Division. This includes researching complex legal issues related to alcoholic beverages law, negotiating with licensees, working with investigators to develop cases, conducting and responding to discovery, and preparing and arguing cases in administrative hearings before the Commission.</p><p>
The Associate General Counsel will also be responsible for providing regular formal trainings for the Commission&rsquo;s Enforcement Division, and for other office staff on an add-needed basis, which will include the preparation of written training materials and giving in-person presentations.</p><p>
With the direction of the Executive Director and other members of the senior leadership team, the Associate General Counsel will also provide advice on legal issues as they arise, including in the areas of licensing and investigation to office staff. Additional duties may include responding to public records requests, responding to inquiries from members of the alcoholic beverages industry and the public, and performing any other duties as may be assigned.</p><p>

Family Law experience is required.</p><p>Position Overview:</p><p>As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our attorneys and staff in the day-to-day administrative needs of the practice. From document preparation to calendar management and client interactions, you&rsquo;ll be instrumental in helping our team deliver top-tier legal services. We are looking for someone who is flexible, dependable, and excited to be an integral part of a team. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is comfortable building strong working relationships with colleagues in different office locations and can seamlessly communicate and collaborate virtually on a regular basis.
