Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.</li><li>Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to the Executive Director and assisting with some administrative aspects of education programs or events</li></ul><p><b>Principal Responsibilities</b></p><p>QuickBooks:</p><ul><li>Maintain accurate financial records</li></ul><p>&middot; Process and manage all aspects of A/R and A/P</p><p>&middot; Prepare bank deposits and reconcile bank statements and internal accounts</p><p>&middot; Record payroll data from payroll service reports</p><p>&middot; Record investment account journal entries prepared by external accountant</p><p>&middot; Generate basic financial statements and reports</p><p>&middot; Assist with preparing annual budget</p><p>&middot; Compile material for annual audit</p><p>Support for Executive Director<b>:</b></p><ul><li>Provide general administrative support for Executive Director, including generating annual fund thank you letters/tax receipts (using Word mail merge)</li></ul><p>Bloomerang:</p><p>&middot; Update financial and constituent data in Bloomerang donor management database</p><p>Education and Event Support:</p><ul><li>If time permits, assist Education &amp; Event Coordinator in processing education program registrations, continuing education credits, and serving as backup during webinars, and processing registrations and otherwise preparing for events</li></ul><p><b>Please note: </b>Because we are a small team, all employees occasionally assist with projects and events outside their primary responsibilities.</p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><p>&middot; College degree (Associate or Bachelor) or bookkeeping certification such as CB or CPB</p><p>&middot; <b>A MINIMUM OF FIVE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN FULL CYCLE BOOKKEEPING OR ACCOUNTING, WITH PROFICIENCY IN QUICKBOOKS AND SOME EXPERIENCE WITH ACCRUAL ACCOUNTING, IS MANDATORY</b></p><p>&middot; Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Mail.
