This innovative Unit within the Civil Rights Division protects the civil rights of people who interact with local police departments and other law enforcement agencies.<br>
</p><p></p><p>Primary Duties : The Assistant Attorney General will work closely with the PAU Director to pursue the Unit&rsquo;s mission to investigate and redress patterns or practices of racially biased or otherwise unlawful policing, provide support to law enforcement agencies regarding civil rights compliance, and protect the civil rights of incarcerated people. Responsibilities include:
</p><ul><li>Screening and developing new matters.
</li><li>Conducting comprehensive investigations involving interviews, data analysis, and retaining and working with experts.

Position Summary:</b></p><p>
DCAMM is looking for an attorney to join DCAMM's Office of the General Counsel (OGC). This team member will provide the highest quality legal advice to OGC to enable it to efficiently perform its statutory functions. This position seeks an experienced commercial real estate attorney for sophisticated multi-party complex transactions, including acquisition and disposition of Commonwealth real property, permitting and licensing and the certification of eligible contractors to perform work on public projects. This enables OGC to perform a critical and active role in developing and implementing DCAMM&rsquo;s policies with respect to all real estate, construction, certification and associated actions.</p><p>
The Counsel III will be expected to draft high-quality agreements, memoranda, reports and other documents, and to negotiate the same in the best interest of the Commonwealth; work closely with members of DCAMM&rsquo;s senior staff to ensure that all actions of DCAMM are authorized by applicable laws, regulations and guidelines; respond to legislative and public requests and prepare briefings and other analyses; interact with appointed officials in the executive branch; be responsible for staying abreast of rapidly evolving legal issues, precedents, rulings and statutes impacting DCAMM&rsquo;s operations; and follow a hybrid work model that consists of both in-office and work from home days.</p><p><b>

Provide legal advice, engage in negotiations and draft documents associated with a high volume of complex, commercial real estate acquisition and disposition transactions, which may include resolving title matters and deed restrictions.</li><li>

About You:
</b></div><div>We&rsquo;re looking for a sharp, energetic, and highly organized In-House Paralegal to join our growing legal team as we transition to public company status. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building processes from the ground up, and is excited to fill gaps, learn quickly, and take ownership across a wide range of legal and operational responsibilities.</div><div></div><div><br>
You&rsquo;ll play a critical role in supporting public-company requirements, contract lifecycle management, and Board of Directors activities while also serving as a trusted partner to Legal, Finance, HR, and the broader business.</div>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities:
</b></h3><ul><li>Support CLO with Board of Directors and committee activities, including meeting calendars, logistics, materials, resolutions, minutes, and follow-ups</li><li>
Assist with corporate governance matters, entity management, and maintenance of corporate records</li><li>
Support CLO with SEC compliance programs, including:preparing and filing Section 16 reports (Forms 3, 4, and 5) for directors and officers, administering the insider trading policy, including trading window notifications and pre-clearance requests, maintaining filing calendars for periodic reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and proxy statements, coordinating signature pages and exhibits for SEC filings, and supporting Regulation FD compliance tracking and documentation (with appropriate supervision)</li><li>
Own day-to-day administration of the Contract Management System (CMS), including intake, tracking, organization, and reporting</li><li>
Support contract lifecycle processes&mdash;from intake through execution and storage</li><li>
Partner with Legal to improve and scale contract workflows, templates, and processes</li><li>
Respond to internal contract and legal operations questions with clarity and urgency</li><li>
Act as a flexible, proactive utility player across the legal function, jumping in where needed as the company scales</li><li>
Support Legal team projects related to audits, diligence requests, special projects and corporate initiatives</li><li>
Draft, review, and organize legal documents, correspondence, and internal communications</li><li>
Maintain clear, accurate, and well-organized records with exceptional attention to detail</li><li>
Coordinate with outside counsel to track engagement letters and invoices</li><li>
Help translate legal concepts into clear, business-friendly language for internal stakeholders</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications:
</b></h3><ul><li>5&ndash;8 years of paralegal experience, ideally in-house and/or supporting a public company or recently public organization</li><li>
Experience supporting Board of Directors activities and corporate governance matters</li><li>
Strong organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail and follow-through</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
High energy, curiosity, and a willingness to jump in and learn new things quickly</li><li>
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping build structure where it doesn&rsquo;t yet exist</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
