About the Role:
The Bartender plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by expertly preparing and serving a wide variety of beverages in a fast-paced environment. This position requires maintaining a clean and organized bar area while adhering to all safety and hygiene standards. The Bartender will engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. Additionally, the role involves managing inventory, handling cash transactions accurately, and collaborating with other team members to support smooth operations. Ultimately, the Bartender contributes to Anthony's reputation for quality service and fine dining ambiance.
Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems to accurately enter orders, process payments, and manage checks.</li><li>
Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift/carry heavy items safely.</li><li>
Strong guest service skills with a professional and groomed appearance.</li><li>
Capability to stand for extended periods during shifts.</li><li>
Reliable attendance and punctuality.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
Experience working in a fine dining or upscale hospitality setting.</li><li>
Certification in responsible alcohol service or bartending.</li><li>
Knowledge of a wide range of cocktails, spirits, and wine.</li><li>
Basic cash handling and point-of-sale system experience.</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul>
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes and guest preferences.</li><li>
Provide attentive and personalized guest service, responding to inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.</li><li>
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.</li><li>
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly, following company policies.</li><li>
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies.</li><li>
Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.</li><li>
Work collaboratively with BOH and FOH staff to coordinate timely service during busy periods.</li></ul>

Skills:
Full time employees maintaining an average of 25 hours a week have an option to enroll in medical insurance and an HSA account while those who maintain 20 hours can choose to enroll in dental, vision, voluntary life, and pet Insurance. Employees are enrolled in the company&rsquo;s 401k plan with an annual discretionary match after 500 hours of employment. Sick Leave is available for all front of house employees and accrued at 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.

Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems. Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles. Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools. Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks. Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies. Transport supplies to bar set-up area. Wash soiled glassware. Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs. Process all payment methods. Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank. Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas. Complete closing duties.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests&rsquo; service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print). Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
