As a Clinical Research Coordinator and participant in the Fred Hutch ASCEND program, employees will engage in a two-year commitment to work as a Clinical Research Coordinator I (CRC) in a paid training and mentorship program.</div><div></div><div><br>
The <b>Clinical Research Coordinator ASCEND Trainee</b> is primarily responsible for ensuring that all administrative and clinical aspects of a study are completed in a timely and compliant manner. This role also ensures that all study related communication and education activities are completed efficiently and effectively. In addition to gaining work experience, participants will learn more about clinical research careers, providing them with the option to remain in the clinical research support pipeline. For participants who wish to pursue higher education, in Year 2 of the program they will have additional support to help navigate the graduate/medical school application process through seminars, rotations, and career mentorship.</div><div></div><div><br>

Responsibilities:

You will deeply understand the specific needs of retinal surgeons in their therapeutic area to identify and address their clinical and business goals and challenges in support of improved patient experience, optimal surgical outcomes, and improved quality of care.

   Technical Education and Surgical Support: Provide technical education to surgeons and staff on PDS usage before, during, and after procedures, ensuring clear and concise instruction in and out of the OR. Support surgical and refill procedures daily, and lead training sessions to enhance understanding of SUSVIMO implant and refill procedures.

   Customer Relationship Management: Maintain high retention rates of current accounts through outstanding service. Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships, conduct quarterly business reviews, and leverage marketing materials for consultative selling.

<li>Solid working knowledge of the techniques of digital photography and video, lighting, and audio capture</li>
<li>Experience shooting with professional grade Canon DSLR and Sony A series cameras, lenses, and using standard studio gear, such as lighting kits, tripods, microphones, etc.</li>
