   Perform visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) of welds in accordance with AWS, ASME, and project-specific standards.
  </li>
  <li>
   Verify welding procedures (PQR&rsquo;s &amp; WPS&rsquo;s), welder qualifications, and material certifications.
  </li>
  <li>
   Monitor welding operations to ensure compliance with approved procedures and safety regulations.
  </li>
  <li>
   Perform visual inspections of welds to include: fit-up, root pass, filler beads and cap pass.
  </li>
  <li>
   Document inspection results, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate records.
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborate with project engineers, quality team, and contractors to resolve welding-related issues.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensure adherence to project safety protocols and environmental regulations.

   Participate in root cause analysis for welding defects and recommend corrective actions.

  Qualifications

   Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential from AWS (American Welding Society) &ndash; required.
  </li>
  <li>
   Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of experience in welding inspection.
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1 and AWS D1.5 , and other relevant standards.
  </li>
  <li>
   Familiarity with various welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW) and materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, alloys).
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to work in challenging environments, including elevated structures and confined spaces.
  </li>
  <li>
   Must be able to work well and tactfully with welding personnel performing the welding in explaining deficient welds discovered during inspection.

<p>The Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Outpatient Neurosurgery team. The Senior NP will play a pivotal role in the preoperative and postoperative management of neurosurgical patients in the outpatient setting, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, as well as contributing to the success of our clinical programs. This is a full-time, weekday position offering a rewarding opportunity to work alongside renowned neurosurgeons and a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity medical center.</p>
<p>
The Senior NP manages patients across two neurosurgical subspecialties, the Functional Program and the Brain Tumor Program. This includes intracranial pathologies, including brain tumors and other neoplasms, as well as patients undergoing evaluation and treatment for functional neurosurgical disorders (eg: Parkinson&rsquo;s disease, essential tremor, epilepsy). Responsibilities will include assessment, coordination of diagnostic workups, perioperative optimization, longitudinal follow-up care, patient and family education, and close collaboration with surgical, oncology, neurology, and allied health teams to ensure continuity and excellence in care. Additionally, as a key stakeholder in the success of these programs, the Nurse Practitioner collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, supports quality improvement initiatives, and helps drive strategic goals. Responsibilities include coordinating care delivery processes, monitoring performance metrics, fostering team communication, and serving as a key liaison between staff, leadership, and external partners.</p>
